While you're away from xbox, you can always sing in to www.xbox.com with your smart phone, pc, etc. and purchase it from there, and download later.
How about that?
In any case, if they cannot sort if out with Hearthfire today, i would think it would be decent to atleast extent the offer for tomorrow, but that's not in my hands. One just has to have patience i suppose. |

It's because on this site, in the mods eyes some people are more equal than others unfortunately.
I've lost count of the number of times I've been harassed/abused/had homo erotica posted on my visitor profile/abusive messages sent to me by a core group of individuals on here over the years, yet those individuals still have their original accounts whilst the victims of their obsession end up with their own profile banned for retaliation.

@56 Waste of time that - I wrote to the webmaster multiple times over a 2 week period to ask why my profile (at the time it had been running for over 2 years without any bans or infractions of any kind) had been banned and got no response at all.
After speaking to a few other members of the site after re-registering, it appears that a poster that I disagreed with on a comments page (over something daft like a release date for a game or something equally innocent) was some kind of groupie for the mods and frequently cries to them to get people they don't like banned from the site.
When you end up with a members list made up of people like that, and a list of people banned for no reason, it's little wonder that the comments page gets filled with stupid shit day after day is it? |

Of course Microsoft ends this year with this shitty deal, the Xbox in general was crap this year. Every exclusive game for the Xbox this year was crap, the deals of the week were all crap, the new dashboard is crap, everything about this system is crap. I would rather play the PS2 and wii over that dam console. When I play PS3 exclusives, they are just 1000% all around better then the shit Xbox has.with the xbox720, I doubt it will be any better then the wiiU or ps3. The GOTY for Xbox should be Playstation allstars because every game that came out this year for the Xbox doesn't even close to being considered for it. Can't wait for the PS4 to get here.
Oh yeah, skyrim was a terrible game, even with this discount I wouldn't buy this shit. |

As much as I understand your points and concern, and find some of them agreeable in many aspects, I must point out that you do yourself no favours when your very first sentence gives me the air that you are acting antagonistic and aggressive towards me.
I must be frank, I personally don't agree with the criticism of the moderators; p'raps I have just been lucky, but I've always found people like Webb and the others to be helpful. Webb even seemed to go out of his way after I made a passing suggestion about re-implementing the old system of having DLC reviews linked under the regular reviews.
But that's just my experience. It isn't reflective of the entire population of this site and I wouldn't for a moment believe it was. |

@14, Yes, the game is so so bad, that's why it's been given huge ratings on all websites, and is arguably one of the best games to be released, and @5...if the game is as bad as you say it is, you wouldn't have put in so much effort for level 50 characters, and maxing out gamerscore would you not?

| Skyrim in Australia is showing up at the low, low price of $49.99!?! WTF, how is that a deal? I was looking forward to today's deal but that's the going RRP in most Aussie retailers down here. Bought and bought. One of the view deals I've actually wanted to buy.
I wanted it to get be back into skyrim, and I had no idea I had put 180hrs into my one characters. totally worth it tho. Times to extend that number |

First off, who in their right mind would buy ANY GAME DIGITALLY when it can be found at RETAIL FOR CHEAPER? Hell even if it was more expensive, I would still pay for a physical copy over digital! But that's not the case here. Oblivion GOTY edition can be found for 20 bucks with all DLC included and end up costing you less!
The only advantage to anyone with this sale are the discounted DLC prices for people who already own the games.

Dawngaurd was a terrible DLC guys. It was so lame and could be completed in like 6 hours. There was barely anything even knew to do or explore.
Dragonborn, now that is a $20 DLC. It spent nearly 35 hours. It was like a whole new game. A decently large new island to explore with dungeons and new enemies, and many more quests. It also brought back many of the things I loved about Morrowind, in a sneak peek kinda way. EPIC DLC! Hearthfire was just a joke, but I would get it for 200 MSP. I would also get Dawngaurd for 800MSP, but the real DLC that is worth every penny of 1600 MSP is Dragonborn. |

| 10% rule in place for the haters here, you must be 10% smarter than the game you are playing to fully enjoy it. Skyrim is a brilliant game and a massive value in gameplay for the price. I'll be picking up the DLC I haven't played yet today for sure. |

| I got this game for my 13th birthday in January, and I have every DLC for the game because it's a great game that deserves your money. I had all achievements before any DLC came out but I enjoyed the game so much that I was willing to give my 100% away for the DLC. But what I don't understand is why you guys want Hearthfire to go down, it's only $5, even at full price. |

#117 : I LOOOOVE skyrim, love dragonborn(has yet to play Dawnguard) but Heartfire was disapointing. The premise of building your own house was fantastic, but it turned out that its slightly a better house than the ones in the game thats it...
For exemple why can't i make 3 time the same type of wings, why are we limited to 3 wings only? They gave us a freaking CASTLE in Oblivion(but so late i could hardly use it, i had already completed the game with all DLC)
Then why are we limited to simply build what the game let us build... i mean its either a blank spot or whats supose to be there... why not choose where i want to put my stuff... For exemple the display cases, they are not like in the main game, weapons have to be drop manually... and this game seem to often move objects when you quit your house... so well not sure i wanna mess up with this... I would rather take more weapon racks...
Instead of containers and dresser why can't i have a mannequin for EVERY ARMORS in the game?
Anyway, thing is i got BORED once i completed my first house... i made a second one but didn't put anything in it and really rushed my third for the achievement before reloading my save(in case i want to build something later) but overall yeah im glad to have a house with my wife, 2 children, a housecarl, a steward, a dog, a horse... and a mudcrab(lol) but was it worth 5$... because i truly love skyrim and love to roleplay yeah maybe, but for your casual gamer it will look USELESS. Also like i said, it would had need to be more customizable. |

| Mircosoft have refunded me 200MSP as I purchased Heartfire for 400MSP first thing Monday along with Dawnguard. I didn't even contact them about it. It's good to see Mircosoft honouring their deals. |
