This Week's Rock Band Tracks Are Chemically Romantic

With the pre-Christmas rush, the Christmas rush and then the impending post-Christmas rush leading up to the new Year's rush, New Year and then the post-New Year's rush, we'd forgotten all about our regular Rock Band update.

So, here without further ado, is this week's Rock Band update, with three tracks from My Chemical Romance, with one taken from the band's 2004 debut 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge', which was also the third single, "Helena". Then there's "Teenagers" from 2006 album 'The Black Parade'.

The three-pack wraps up with "Sing", taken from the band's 2010 album 'Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys'. And as ever you can earn double points in Rock Band: Blitz by playing any of these new tracks.

My Chemical Romance Pack 01 - 440 Microsoft Points (160 Microsoft Points each. X = 80 Microsoft Points per track for a Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade O= support for keyboards)

  • “Helena” – My Chemical Romance O
  • “Teenagers” – My Chemical Romance OX
  • “Sing” – My Chemical Romance O

(All tracks are original master recordings)

Look out for them on the Xbox Live Marketplace from December 25th AKA yesterday.

Going for Helena and Teenagers since I have Sing already from Blitz. Kind of wish they have Famous Last Words also.

Whoever wrote this article knows nothing about MCR. 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge' was their 2nd ablum, not debut. Their first album is 'I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought me Your Love' and is easily one of my all time favorite albums. I'd kill for some tracks off of that ablum! Regardless, I'll be getting 'Helena' and 'Teenagers'. 'Sing', like most of Danger Days, is commercialized crap.

My fave band ever ^.^ not their best songs, but still very, very good choices :)

@4 - that albumn didn't even chart if I recall, the chances of any songs from it making it to rb3 are very slim

@4 It was taken from Rockband.com, you should let them know :)

Both songs were pretty fun to play, already had sing. If I remember right, we should be getting more songs on Sunday this week. Not sure why they can release songs on xmas but not new years day.

The only song I have is Sing from Blitz, and if that song is any indication, I will very much dislike the other offerings. More power to the fans, just not for me.

I also feel I need to comment at that absurd Danger Days album name. Like an awful comic book or Captain Underpants series entry.

Agree with 2 and 9, both fine choices for RB. Headfirst for Halos would have also been an instabuy for me.

I want this game so bad! I can't find reasonably priced instruments, so it looks like I'll never get to look forward to these updates. Anybody looking to sell them, lol? Gamertag - Br1ghtShadow

Dammit! Teenagers is my least favorite from The Black Parade, which is ironically my favorite album. I'd rather have songs like Dead!, Welcome to the Black Parade and I'm Not Okay.

People are still playing Rock Band? I thought that garbage died off when Guitar Hero died off. Im glad we will never see another game from either one of them, the songs were complete garbage after GH3.

@19 "Welcome to the Black Parade" is already on the Rock Band store.

@23 I can't believe you fucking idiots, coming into threads, saying how much you hate a game series, calling it garbage.

As an avid rhythm game player, I'm calling your bullshit. GH3 was absolute shit and had hit windows the size of a cow's anus. You weren't playing a game, it just seemed like you were hitting to the rhythm.

As for "never see another game", sure Guitar Hero was mismanaged to fuck and rightfully so after the departure of Harmonix, but how do you explain the release of Rock Band Blitz and it's decent sales numbers?

And if it died off, WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY STILL RELEASING WEEKLY DLC FOR IT?

Prince of Death, I hope there's someone in your life to slap you on the back of the head when you say stupid shit like this at inappropriate times and places.
