| Really want all the Darksiders finished, and would like one where all four horsemen play a part, whether co-op or where the stories merge and you play as each in segments (or even where you can change to any at the press of a button and have to solve puzzles using skills unique to each) |

I know many (most!) won't agree with me on this, but I'd rather THQ was bought by EA over Ubisoft as from my experiences I find them less greedy than THQ or Ubisoft. Prices of GonD are a good example of this - EA games do get reduced as they get older, but THQ are still charging £50 for Space Marine; and Rayman Origins got reduced to $10 for the deal of the day yesterday, whereas it was £20 (more than twice as expensive) in the UK. Ubisoft have also ruined the Ghost Recon franchise with the newest game to make it more mainstream to get more sales (and yes, I know they are a business so need the sales). Different people will have different opinions I'm sure, but for me with the games I play and how I play them (DLC, game modes, etc), I feel far less ripped off by EA than either Ubi or THQ who I feel are both equally as greedy as EA and Activision, but it's less noticeable because they have less successful games. |

I love all of the idiot comments saying "better than EA or Activision!". No, Ubisoft is not better than Activision. Because when it comes to milking franchises, they've become just as bad, if not worse, than Activision. Assassin's Creed and Rayman are now yearly affairs. The last Prince of Persia was a terribly rushed piece of crap thrown together just to cash in on the release of the terrible film. Call of Juarez: The Cartel was dog shit. Even the Tom Clancy games (splinter cell, rainbow six, ghost recon) have all slowly become less and less relevant with each release. And do none of you actually see the troves of shovelware they push out for the Nintendo systems on a constand Basis?? Meanwhile the games that we actually WANT to play are nowhere to be seen. Beyond Good & Evil 2 just keeps getting pushed further and further to the back of the line. And, seriously. All of this blind, uneducated hate against EA is ridiculous. They had a bad track record YEARS ago. But over the years since this console generation began, they turned it completely around. And they've consistenly published stellar titles through the development houses they've acquired, and already own. Mass Effect, Left 4 Dead, Portal, Battlefield, Mirror's Edge, Dead Space. The list goes on. Personally, I'd rather have EA purchase THQ. If nothing, they've at least proven that they're more interested in maintaining some measure of quality and innovation in their flagship franchises. As opposed to just churning out the same polished up piece of shit year after year. Which is really all publishers like Activision, and yes, Ubisoft do these days. This hate against EA should've stopped about 3-4 years ago. Yeah, they have their faults. And they have been known to pressure studios to meet deadlines. But that's what business is all about. Every publisher does it. Get the fuck over it. Even with that pressure, how often do you see their money making franchises release two titles one year apart from each other? Never. Anyone paying attention knows that Ubisoft in several cases has become just as evil an empire as Activision in terms of business practices. This news rabout THQ really sucks. But that's the industry these days. And given how well every other studio and franchise has fared under them. I'd say that we wouldn't have a thing to worry about if EA were to purchase them. |

I agree with #17. EA will expect increasing returns, but they will support the developers to a degree. The same cannot be said for Ubi or Acti. Also, I agree with #29. Just play Syndicate (one of the best games of 2012), and EA didn't squeeze Starbreeze and force out a crappy game. They allowed them time, support and resources and the end product was, and is, excellent. @27 : Volition own and develop the Red Faction and Saints Row franchises, not THQ, but I don't see these franchises having worthy sequels and new iterations under Ubi's control. It is concerning to see Ubisoft so interested in THQ, but they're probably just dick waving for a stake. Chances are other corporations have made inquiries behind the scenes, though we can only hope that they act upon it sooner rather than later. |

| I don,t mind who,s buying THQ as long the new owner keeps the games rolling like Metro Last Light and Darksiders and all the other great games THQ had like Saints Row. It probly the future anyways the gamecompanies like EA, Activision and Ubisoft will buy all the smaller gamestudios eventualy. For those who played games on the first PS and xbox probly remember the many gamestudios we had then, and the fact then we had so many different games and great ideas, nowadays all we see is mostly FPS games. The future probly will have one huge gamecompany that controls and owns all the rest and dictates what games will come out and what not. |

@33 : I sincerely hope not. Also, you're failing to recall what happens when the market becomes saturated with the same old shit (1983). After every crash, just like after every war or forest fire, new life and new ideas start to grow from the ruins of the old. Such will happen when the current industry collapses, and it will. And even then, you'll still see people like Tim Schafer (people who are lifers in the industry) just doing his thing, making the odd, kooky little game or two, and pushing the boundaries of both creativity and entertainment with his smaller projects that have been painstakingly nurtured over years. Because THAT, is what it's about, and at the end of the day, it'll be a future worse than Megacity 1 if all we have is godforsaken FPS games left in the metaphorical wasteland that will be the gaming industry of the future. |

@29 Atleast Ubisoft tries to put a lot of new content in their games, comparing to Activison. And as #20 said, I really wouldn't mind, if EA would get THQ, as long as they wouldn't shut down servers after one year, when the game got released. |

| I am disappointed by the way THQ handle the Saints Row the Third game crappy dlc, but they had the worst season pass for this game 3 small dlc that last for 30min -1 hour each you couldn't even keep the weapons and the planes was just the same but with different skin Saints Row the Third was a ok game but half of the main missions was side missions. Saints Row 1 and 2 was one of the best games on Xbox 360. |
