People do understand that this is not all about been difficult?
It also is home to a great, dark and gritty game world.
To those saying the lobby is a bad idea are just been selfish, just because you dislike it doesn't mean a lot of others would like it, and nobody would force you to use it.
For me would prefer a lobby system but, if there is not one I'm not going to bitch and cry about it. |

@27 the games USP its its selling point. If you had read my comment you would see why i and others find it stupid to add the ability to boost bosses as you cant do it yourself. The whole point in the game is to find a way round the issues youre faced with. brute force boosting is not part of the makeup of the game.
though looking at your tag you gave up on it half way last June. So im assuming it was to hard for you.

Why should the best game of the last 20 years be ruined by people that cant do it them selves or with anonymous capped help? if anything you're the one being selfish asking for a feature to make the game easier because of your inability to play it yourself! |

i do agree with you,, i only just recently got darksouls n hvnt got that far into it yet,, but you get a sense of achievement as you progress knowing that you done it yourself,, no matter how many times you die in the process lol |

@27 The whole point of the game is to work by trial and error, and find your own path through the unique world offered by the developers. The random server set up for MP is a design choice by the developers (and is stated as so in many interviews) solely to add a degree of difficulty, and make you feel like you are isolated in an unfriendly world.
This way, if you do pull a friendly summon into your world, you get some idiot as clueless as you are and still have to work out the best path to go (see also, the Soul Level +/- 10% rules when summoning a phantom), instead of some dickhead with maxed out equipment that does everything for you whilst you excitedly tell your friends on party chat that you're beating the crap out of the 4 Kings and getting achievements that they can only dream of.
Why stop at setting up MP lobbies to have someone hold your hand through the game? Why not just fucking unlock the achievements for free using one of the PC programs you find online?

Took me 60 goes to finally kill 4 Kings on NG+, and dropped my controller and ran around the room whooping and scaring my cats. One of my finest gaming moments this gen.
But yeah, take that away from yourself and have some douchbag take you around Lordran and do everything for you, great idea.

@28, It wasn't too hard for me I was enjoying it, but other stuff came up and i never got back into it, I have been considering picking up the prepare to die edition, but I haven't got round to that either, I'm just addicted to getting new stuff.
I still have my game save from before on a USB stick so I could always dive straight back in...

| This art looks amazing I can't wait to be ganked by the chariot guy. I do hope they put in a way to invite a friend to play though. Not so I can be toured around by some high level but so my friend and I who will both be equally clueless about the game can stumble around together until we get it right.My cousin and I did do our best to play this way in the original but trying to find the correct summon sign can be... tiring. |

| Why don't they have a party system for the people who want it. But compromise alittle. Say, You only can get achievements if you play it solo. I have not passed the game due to not having time. I hope to go back someday and beat it. But it would be fun to play co-op for the game. And rewards to beat it solo for the achievements. |

| Lobby system, no. What I would like to see is the ability to directly invite my friends. When my friend and I first picked up dark souls we did so cause it was hard, and co-op. I'm more than fine with staying in 10% of each others level, just mak ot easier to play. |

@92, just summon someone so you can wander off. But I know where you're coming from with that. Needing to go to the bathroom and you get invaded.
As for a lobby system, no. But yes a way to invite your friends, and possibly keep going in co-op not. You defeated the boss, now be gone with you. I hate re-summoning my friends after we beat a boss. The 10+/- thing is fine, just allow us to stay in the game until we die or quit. |
