Max Payne 3 was $39.99 already... I assumed it was going to drop to $20 which isn't bad. $40 is a rip.
LA Noire is dirt cheap used but $20 is still a decent price.
I'm assuming Games on Demand can't fall lower than $9.99 otherwise Midnight Club should be $5 maybe $7.50
Red Dead isn't a terrible price but it'd be more worth it if it was the GotY edition.
33% off is a joke but I guess all of the daily deals can't be winners. Still impressed by the sales this year. Yesterday especially. |

| Max Payne 3 is only AUD$20 on the Australian marketplace. I can't believe it! Knowing my luck, they'll announce a GOTY version with all the DLC 5 minutes after I buy it. |

I´m from Czech Republic and usually buying games from UK for same price I have GOTY RDR or LA noire.... and on disc...so I don´t know why to pay same for less ...
Countdowns to 2013 is great I spent around 6000 ms point and another 4-5000 plan...but rockstar is bad...if they give goty for this price on digital...why not, but buy games without dlc and pay another few pounds or dollars for 4-5 dlc? |

@6 - They all equated to more than USD $9.99 though is my point. It would have to reach 7.57€ to equal out to $9.99 USD. I think they use different pricing based on demand (or some relative formula) in each country which could explain how the prices vary (along with the fact that each country costs a different amount for base size msps)
Rockstar usually comes correct on their sales. Last year all the RDR dlc was ridiculously cheap if I remember right. Today was just a huge bust (minus the Aussie price on MP3) |

**JUST A HEADS UP**
Midnight Club on Demand IS the "Complete" (GOTY) version, you don't have to buy any DLC separately.
Also, LA Noire requires you to download some of the game's cases in the start menus (for free) to have the complete *non-GOTY* version. The game was originally multidisc and the entire thing couldn't fit within the file limitations of GoD. |

| Just got the disc of LA Noire for ten bucks new a couple of weeks ago, and I've seen the GOTY for as low as $15. Least impressive day this year so far. That's a lot of hard drive space for not so great prices. |

Not there on my Dashboard. All I have is 'Hidden Gems', 'Best of 2012' and 'Assassins Creed 3'.
Maybe it's a difference between the UK and US dashboards? If so, that's pathetic. It means a load of people have potentially missed sales on things they want because MS can't be bothered to sort out the dashboard. Gee, thanks guys. |

you can go buy the rockstar collection new which has la noire, red dead, gta4 and midnight club plus all dlc for $60.
looking forward to skyrim sale so i can get the dlc if its $10 each. if not i'll keep holding out for a goty |

You can buy Max Payne 3 for $40 as a digital download through the sale or buy the collectors edition at game stop for $20. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

This is just a massively missed marketing opportunity - if they were smart they could've put 'I am Alive' on sale today with the whole mayan end of the world hoopla and all!!! Instead they went for crappy GoD demand deals for titles most people who would want them already own - and even then, NOT the complete editions people would want to buy at this stage if they didn't already have these...

| I have Red Dead, La Noire and Midnight La AND all 3 season passes... yet I hate Rockstar???Just as others have eluded to, my gripe lies with their sale consists of.They could have put spme dlc on sale as well.Their offering is more in line with a Dotw, rather than this awesome sale so far.Wasnt saying the games were crap at all.Sorry for the butthurt :/ Now excuse me while I go pick up Bully as well. |
