Tomb Raider Guide to Survival Trailer Looks at 'Smart Resourceful Lara'

Showing various game elements like the base camp where Lara can upgrade her abilities, this latest Tomb Raider trailer, which is also the first episode in a new series, shows how earning XP through combat, exploration, collectibles and what not can help Lara grow and develop her skills.

Featuring a hefty chunk of new gameplay footage, the first Guide to Survival trailer shows how you can use Lara's survival instincts during exploration and while solving puzzles. It also showcases Lara's new signature weapon, the ever-reliable bow and arrow.

Check out the new trailer below to find out more about Tomb Raider, then look forward to the next episode in the series, which looks at Lara's traversal skills. Tomb Raider is out on March 5th, 2013.

Looks good. (RDR+FC3) elements of old and new. I like this current hunting and exploring vibe games have taken at the moment, and Lara is one of the early icons.

This will be the first Tomb Raider game I might be interested in since the very first one. I like what they're doing here, I'm just worried that this is going to be loaded with quick-time events.

So she will go from scared girl throwing up after first kill to ultimate killing machine in say 10/15HRS. Yeah, I totally dig that. I guess her boobs changed in the same time span. Can't way to see that sequel/prequel=]
