  • a great game with the same DLC but with different characters, i bought the season pass but im pretty disappointed they never did any DLC that was different to the others.
  • Big Game Hunting, eh? Knowing Hammerlock, that means sniper rifles. Also, dat accent / humor.
  • i'm waiting on the GOTY edition. i spend way to much on dlc for my games. :)
  • Is the season pass worth the dollar? Me and the missus are close to finishing the game and I don't know whether I should drop some points for it. I believe it's getting a reduction in the coming days/weeks?
  • @4 Yeah its supposed to be discounted on the 27th so I would wait! :)
  • No achievement for an increased level cap?
  • 'Been there done that' is very appropriate for these DLC they are churning out, I have no desire to replay them despite completing the main game atleast once with each character.
  • Will wait for the GOTY myself even though I love this game don't fancy payin 800 msp every other week
  • Another boring DLC
  • Still no level cap increase?
  • These DLCs are good but three achievements only? Kinda sucks...
  • I can see it now, a fifth, non-season pass DLC with a level increase.
  • People moaning for a level increase? REALLY!?! Bore off. Anyways can't wait for the DLC :D
  • ^ well cover your eyes, because I'm moaning that I don't want to earn all of this extra XP from these DLC quests until we see a level cap increase. I played the first DLC but was put off by discovering how crappy it was to farm Seraph crystals and that Master Gee was super buggy. I heard they fixed him up in the latest patch, though.
  • Season pass will be on sale soon during the Christmas sale.
  • Just cause there aint an achievement for a level increase doesn't mean that there won't be one, stop moaning about it
  • I really would like a little innovation in these achievements. The vanilla game had some clever ones, why not the DLC?
  • I foresee a lot of pissed of people if the level cap is not raised with this DLC. I don't care about an achievement for it, I just want better guns, shields, etc.
  • I find it funny how all we know are the achievements and a lot of people are complaining about how the dlc is the same as the others. How the hell do you know what the dlc is like just from three achievements and the name of the dlc?
  • @19: People seem to be complaining about the same-ness because the last two haven't been too different from each other nor the main game. Basically (1) hey, let's fight pirate bandits in a desert-ish place; (2) hey, let's fight not-too-different enemies in a tournament/circle-of-slaughter-ish thing (*cough* Moxxi's Underdome). As opposed to the first game which, while all the DLC wasn't the best, it was still great. The Zombie Island was awesome. Secret Armory was overall okay as it (1) upped the level cap; (2) added the armory full of equipment; (3) added Crawmerax. The Claptrap Revolution was decently okay too, at least in story and atmosphere. The first game's DLC seemed to have much better atmosphere from what I can tell.
  • There has to be a Season Pass Part 2 coming or something. We will get the 4th DLC by February I am sure so thats the 4 for the season pass. After that we will see a Level Cap increase and a monster DLC possibly to take the gamerscore to 2000? I am really hoping for this. The DLCs are kinda boring and the bosses are ridiculously hard and kinda boring. Pete the Invincible was fun though. Master Gee was stupid and Hyperious just all around terrible. And you can only beat them once a day? DUMB DUMB DUMB !
  • this is very disappointing; all three 3 dlcs seem to be the same (beat the last level, complete the side missions, and lastly discover all locations) it seems like they aren't even tying which disappoints me and not to mention the level cap. Reach the max level...for now; yeah im sure they meant till the 3rd game.
  • Considering season pass is going on sale, that blows. But I got more pissed off when they did same with gears 3 pass. Now I was dumb and manageg to get fooled twice. Anyway, I hope they raise the lvl cap here. I have been holding off on playing Carnage campaign in hopes I can use it to keep going up the levels. Not much fun in RPG games when you don't see that experience bar move up, even a little=/
  • I'm guessing its going the same route as BL1, 3 small dlc, 1 expansion. I hope at least
  • @13 Lol, ''bore off''
  • So, are ALL of these DLC gonna have some obnoxiously hard raid boss at the end? Seriously, I dig Crawmerax as much as any other Borderlands fan, but come the fuck on. They made these assholes so hard that I HAVE to play with my level 50 character to even have a hope of winning and then I can't get any XP for it because they won't increase the goddamned level cap. I'm really not sure what the incentive's supposed to be. Frankly, I don't know which is worse: Gearbox's current DLC formula or searching for randomly dropped pizza and panties...
  • @26 All Raid bosses have had their level dropped on first playthrough since the last update, I've just done both the dlc bosses with ease (which has kinda pissed me off) I don't wanna have to go through all the DLC again just to get the level 50 stuff... So a Level increase would be nice eh Gearbox????? Gives me a reason then to go through the dlc on playthrough 2.
  • Also I could be wrong but think that Gearbox isn't the one making the DLC... Will check into this on my lunch break but it would make a lot of sense.
  • Probably gonna suck like the 2 first dlcs, fucking hate questing at max level.
  • I have loved all of the DLCs that have released so far! My only complaint is I feel the DLC bosses are too hard. I mostly play by myself due to my friends not having the DLC so its not really fun trying to solo them. Im sure the missions will be cool and hopefully they will increase the level cap with this one, but I wouldn't be surprised if they waited for the next DLC to release it.
  • I'm starting to get the feeling that paying for the Season Pass at full price was a waste of money. It seems Xbox Live is taking note of what I'm purchasing, then decide to put it on sale afterwards. Trolls. :P
  • Was hoping for the DLC to be around Maliwan, but this I hope gives SDU upgrades for backpack
  • really dont seem to be getting my money's worth yet with the last 2 dlcs.... and these achievement lists?.... fucking suck... face it. what happened to that same creativity and insanity that made all of borderlands 1 and the main game to borderlands 2???
  • @6 Randy Pitchford was on X-Play the other day and said that they have no plans on raising the level cap any time soon. He said they're tinkering with the idea, but went on to say that only 15% of active players have actually reached the current level cap of 50, so they're waiting for people to catch up or some BS. Personally, I don't buy it. I got my Zerker to 50 in less than a week of semi-hardcore playing. You gonna tell me people can't get to 50 in 3 months playing? Screw that and screw those players. FEED US HARDCORE GAMERS! lol
  • I don't care about more dlc since I have to play it on low level characters since they won't raise the level cap.
  • @#27 - Yeah, I know they aren't as hard, but I'm still bored with them. I'm saddened because I really thought Gearbox was gonna do us a solid and make some quality DLC. And while they haven't exactly made the Underdome again, the BL2 DLC lies between the good DLC from BL1 and Underdome in terms of overall quality. That's not particularly flattering... And if #25's Pitchford quote is correct then he's really got his head up his ass. In fact, this DLC and the shit they're trying to pull with Aliens has started making me wary of Gearbox in general.
  • Sir Hammerlock is one of the best characters in this game in my opinion, and now he's getting his own DLC =D AWESOME!! Bring it on
  • Sorry to be a level cap moaner, but if it's not raised with this DLC I'm not going to buy/play until it is. I don't want the cap to be raised with the last DLC and have nothing left to do before I hit max and get stuck replaying. Again. I get the feeling a lot of the people complaining about the others wanting a level cap raise are the same ones that never stepped foot in TVM and still haven't hit 50 after doing everything on normal. Us BL2 marathon players need something more to work towards besides a few new achievements and a bunch of weapons that aren't better than the ones we already have.
  • Looks like we wouldd be hunting down like bullymongs
  • Gearbox fails again
  • Why does Playstation always get their achievements first? Whats up with that?
  • @39. Agreed
  • i would really like a lvl cap increase getting sick of just 50 after 2 dlc's
  • I have the season pass, but I don't even care about this BS anymore. I am bored with all 5 classes sitting at the cap, as are all my friends, and their friends. New playable classes will not help, and everyone I know feels the same way. I get ZERO enjoyment playing with the same lvl 50 characters over and over again... it is beyond annoying, disappointing, and is getting to the point where I nearly consider it a low blow.
