According to the internet, the first episode of Walking Dead is completely free for a week starting Christmas Day.

I believe there is some confusion over the walking dead.
The official website states the first episode will be free. Nothing has been said about discounting the other episodes. Hope that clears it up. |

| Border 2 getting a season pass discount before all the DLC is out is just fuck. They did the same with Gears 3. This kind of shit really reminds me that buying a game (and season pass) on day one is really a waste of money. I can understand discounting a game after all the DLC is out and they've got full price out of everyone, or that season pass owners have had their early release and appreciated the bulk discount, rather than this slap in the face with a cold cunt. |

I'll definitely be picking up Mark of the Ninja, Dust: An Elysian Tail, and Deadlight. Possibly Joe Danger 2: The Movie, Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, Trine 2, and Jet Set Radio as well.

I would be highly surprised if all the discounts up there had been announced via website. I wouldn't worry about it at all, the full WD series has been half off in quite a few steam deals already :)
OT: This could possibly hurt; the only definites up there for me are the Walking Dead and Dawnguard, but depending on how much the Borderlands 2 pass is off, that's rather tempting. Also the Trials Evo dlc :P |

Borderlands 2 Season Pass will probably only drop to 1800MSP, like last year when Forza 4 and GoW3's season passes went on sale.
Still, BL2 Season Pass and The Walking Dead for me.
Also, I'm surprised Minecraft isn't on the list. Yeah, it could be on one of the days that are TBA, but it would be a good opportunity to get more sales (then again, why do they need it :D). |

The walking dead does deserve its own day. Anyone who doesn't have that yet get it.
It looks like I have a lot of XBLA game demos to download. Does anyone know if Deadlight is worth a playthrough, I played the demo but still don't know if it will be worth the $7.50 (assuming its half off). So Mark of Ninja and Deadlight are maybes for me. Eveything else I'll have to try out first. |

Kind of peeved at the Skyrim DLC, as I just bought the two biggies during the Rewards current scheme where they'll give you 100 free MSP for spending over 2,000 MSP.

So glad I asked mainly for MS points for my upcoming birthday and Xmas.
My girlfriend and myself are very happy to hear about the Borderlands 2 season pass going on sale. The only reason we haven't brought it yet as we are waiting for a DLC pack which will increase the level cap but we'll definitely not turn our noses up at getting it earlier for cheaper.
Great news about Walking Dead I was holding off for a disc release in the UK but seeing as that isn't happening - getting a free episodes and the others will probably be reduced to 200ms. Getting the whole series for 800ms is a frugal win!
Depending if I have points left over I might get Skyrim Hearthfire. I'm hoping the two days left blank might be Bioware DLC (Mass Effect 2-3 and Dragon Age 2 stuff please). |

| Decent sale but I already have almost everything I want on the list. I guess I will be getting world of keflings dlc, trials evolution, and maybe borderlands 2 season pass, though I don't have the game yet. |

Seems a bit too early for the Borderlands 2 season pass to be on sale. All of the content isn't even out yet! I wish I would have waited, now.
Oh well, it looks like there is going to be a lot of stuff for me to buy, though. |

all depends how much they are discounted
damn if the prices are good i will be spending a lot of points and adding to my backlog
Also nice to have some different games for sale.
I dislike the season pass for borderlands 2 will be on sale. In my opinion season passes should not go on sale until all dlc is out. I know we got the 1st 2 dlc before everyone. Felt the same way when gears 3 season pass went on sale last year |

| Yes! This is what I've been waiting months for! I preordered Resident Evil 6 from the Microsoft store and got a 20$ MS point card and used the 10$ MS store credit to get another point card so I have 40$ in MS points saved up waiting for this sale!! Getting Walking Dead 2-5, Zuma's Revenge, Deadlight, Mark of the Ninja, Dust, Hearthfire, Hell Yeah! and maybe the Borderlands 2 Season pass if its a pretty good discount. Great sale! |

| Awww why does the trials sale have to be on the 24th? I know my girlfriend has got me a £20 ms point card for christmas and there is no way I'll get it off her beforehand. At least I can pick up the whole walking dead, never got round to playing it! Oh and I recommend kinect party to anyone with kinect. I've got happy action theatre (the one before) and its a blast with friends around. |

@108 - as if you aren't aware of Microsoft inflating the prices. I guarantee it, there will be many items on this list which will be more expensive than the last time it was on sale.
You're better off buying MS Points from an online retailer, paying ~$5 less than the regular price, then go and get DLC. Don't give Microsoft the RRP because they don't know how to attract a buzz for a decent sale. |

| The only thing that interests me is the 18th December - Modern Warfare 3 deals. Finally if they are heavily discounted I can finally get all the achievements I'm missing and then forever be done with that disappointing PoS. Also just like someone said the other day. STEAM really puts these deals to shame, big time. Too bad I can't afford a PC at the moment. |

| Very surprised that the Forza Horizon season pass is not on sale (considering they put Forza 4 season pass on sale last year during this sale). There are a lot of arcade and DLC that I am considering. Maybe a few GoD titles as well. Hoping Alan Wake will be one of those TBA games. I have been waiting for a sale on that for a while to play it again. |

not much for me in this lot (maybe Plants vs Zombies and possibly Deadlight, if the price is right), but what I was really hoping for was more in the fighting games sale - specifically, more from Capcom...
...they've been screwing their fanbase royally over the past couple of years, and there came a point earlier this year when I said "enough's enough" and have boycotted paying full price for any of their downloadable offerings.
so... here's hoping that SFxT costumes/characters get a hefty reduction along with the xbla releases of MvC:Origins and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. |

Was really hoping for the Dark Souls DLC, oh well. Might grab Dawnguard even though the newer one looks way better. Does the Kefling DLC have new achievements? I want The Walking Dead but Im gonna hold out for the disc version, either for Christmas, or the next time I go to gamestop =).

| @ comment #134 - I thought about that, the problem is I have two consoles. An old pro model that sounds like a jet turbine and a new matte black model that's very quite. Guess which console all my downloads pending downloads on xbox.com go to. I tried to figure out how to change that earlier today but I can't for the life of me fix it. |

- Press the Xbox button in your controller and go to the left.
- Select Download Queue.
- Select any pending download and press A button.
- Select the option to download just the selected one or all the pending downloads to this console. |

If you select 'all pending downloads' in that last step, that xbox will be your default from then on. With only the selected one, the other one remains the default. |
