| @3 I believe the achievement issue is out of 343's hands. Microsoft has to add them to xbox.com. Why Microsoft is managing to mess up several things involving it's biggest exclusive of the year is beyond me. |

| DLCs have a very high chance of problems on day one. And that's not even a reason for taking off work for a dlc is silly. Even Dragonborn wasn't worth a day off. Unless you guys are shooting for "First!" for 1250g. |

| I just downloaded the maps from the Halo 4 main menu for free so it just be fixed. I have the war games pass and I know for a fact I wasn't charged since I currently have zero msp and there is no credit card linked to my account. |

| Literally cannot imagine why people take the day off to play DLC. If the game had just been released then fair enough, but it's not a huge deal. Some people struggle to get a job and then others take a day off to play a game. Unbelievable. |

Actually, I'm with 6 here. I can understand maybe taking the day off for a full game release, or possibly a hefty expansion like The Ballad of Gay Tony or Dragonborn.
But a freaking map pack? That just boggles my mind why anyone would really be that bothered.

| @25 I can't see the problem with enjoying your favourite games on your day off even if it is for a map pack. People earn days off for working hard and can spend those days how they please. People have had days off for a lot worse reasons than playing Halo. |

Then we don't see eye to eye. I don't really care, to be honest, what people do in their spare time is their business. Just levee-ing in with 6 after 18 claimed he made 'no sense'. I'd personally rather save that day off for something else, especially for a map pack, which I personally believe is best enjoyed over a long period of time rather than one continuous session on the same maps. |

Don't get me wrong, You do make a good point. I just felt like I needed to defend 1 and 4's right to spend days off however they wish. For the record I have never had a day off for a map pack, large expantion or even a full retail release but I refuse to judge others that do. |

| I wouldn't personally take a day off work just for a map pack, but to the guys commenting stuff like "I hope you get fired" and "some people struggle to get a job" etc... Guys, he didn't say he pulled a sickie. Probably just used some annual leave, I might not have used mine for the same reason, but it's fair enough, nothing to get bent out of shape about. I just took a week off to do nothing but chill out, do I deserve to lose my job? 4 weeks worth of annual leave is pretty standard in most jobs, if they let you take the time, who cares what it's for? |

I downloaded it for free at 2:15 Pacific Time (17 minutes ago). I've heard that rebooting the game multiple times might trigger it, if you want to try that (Check Source 1). FYI, nobody will get banned for getting this for free (Check Source 2).

| @62 I managed to nail 4 of the 8 achievements within the first game. Just landed on a enemy Mantis and Melee'd it. Also the DLC was free for my cousin who downloaded it with no charge and he doesn't even own Halo 4. |

All the comments about taking days off to play games, and people slagging them off. Who the fuck cares why they took the day off; maybe in the evening they don't get much time to play MP because they spend time with their families or something - who knows and who cares.
And I assume that it's the US saying its stupid - probably the fact that you guys only get about 10 days a year annual leave, whereas in the UK it's more like 25-30 days and this time of year any unused holiday needs to be taken before New Year. |

To all of you moaning about taking days off for playing DLC or doing just about anything...remember, you're on an achievement site. Just like how you think it's a fun thing to go chasing after these numbers that don't really mean anything to anyone but yourself(and others like you, of course), maybe they think just the same about these map packs?
You know, because maybe that's what they want to do? Because it's fun, their kind of fun. It's obviously much easier to comment without getting a bigger perspective of the situation, though...
I WILL admit that it seems a little selfish when you take into account the fact that there's a lot of unemployed people out there struggling to survive, especially those who have a family to take care of. Both sides have something to think about, IMO. |

| I started Halo 4 after days off and just had the same issue that it shows me 800 for the Map Pack. Then I quit Halo 4, did some other stuff, started it again and there, a star showed on the Start Screen of Halo 4 that new Xbox Live Marketplace content is available and then it was 0. |
