| I will have to try Minecraft again,just didn't have a clue when i tried it when it first came out and couldn't see the appeal(I didn't 'Get It')...but the love for the game shows that there must be something i am missing |

| nice! no iron golems though? i would think they would add them as well since they are putting in snow golems and villagers! i've been wanting to port in my iron golem farm from pc into my world on xbox lol. very excited for this, and my fiance is really excited about mooshrooms lol. |

| Now only if they would fix it to where the game would stop randomly locking up. Every world I've ever created will have random spots that freeze, even after putting 30 hours into a world. |

| @16 The enchantment table draws power from bookshelves and adds bonus stats to your swords/pickaxes like "bane of arthropods" kills spiders in one hit while a pickaxe with "feather" will not break glass or glowstone blocks, keeping them whole. Much fun ahead! |

| This is the update I've been waiting for. It's just a bit weird that you don't get exp from killing monsters, but as long as XP and enchanting are there, I'm going to get re-addicted to this all over again. |

The news is several days old, but eh.
Could do with having the date of completion in mind. I have several series that need to be wrapped up before it's release.
I wonder if we'll be getting spawner egg's or not this time around, there are always features that are given that weren't in the update that's given, they'd make some great adventure maps, when we have the ability to spawn creatures.
This is by far the best support any developers given their game after release imo. Especially seeing as this isn't even their home version either, just a port version, with that in mind, it's amazing that they're this great about things. If only we had a simply way of sharing content, finding games and such. Perhaps in time we may, perhaps, we can always hope. :) |

| I hope they still spawn nether fortesses if you didn't enter the nether up till that day. It was possible with old maps and generated structures. |

That's mainly because MS realised they'd be stupid to pass up the Minecraft updates.
Other Devs have wanted to do the update format, but MS are p***y about it. Team Fortress 2 and Valve being a notable one of them. |

@35, you lack imagination and dedication there then, a game does't need achievements to be good.
If they're giving more achievements, then there's be something in the TU8 for fighting the dragon and such, if they're not there, then there probably won't be anything.
@33, :( bugger, I hope we can at least trade with the villagers, hope they bring that bit forward.
Do we get jungle tree's? Wouldn't mind being able to get coco beans at last and not have them as something more precious then diamonds >.> |
