Yes its run on a high end pc,and as a high end custom pc owner myself,I'm happy to see this in a way because it means with consoles getting this level of support,us pc gamers wont be getting console ports of 360 games that needs extra patches and dlc to make work with our machines higher spec.
Few pc games have proper support since the majority of them are console ports these days,with a few exceptions of course.But this might change that |

| You do know xbox 360 games are developed on a pc as well right so yes its a high end pc but its showing what a normal non triple a title will most likely look like for the next gen consoles right now this kind of quality is only coming from something like farcry 3 with a huge budget if a smaller dev can pull this off then that's great. |

| Eh, nothing really pops for me texture wise,except the water. For the next gen and high end pc I was expecting, nice detailed textures like in older games. I was reading a thread on a forum awhile back and they were talking about textures and the older games had more details in the textures compared to modern games even Battlefield 3. |

Of course they exist now, what do you think happens? The day a console is released the devs all magically make a game within a couple of days? The dev's have the specs of a console around 2 to 1 and a half years before its release, and have an actual console (whats known as a dev kit) around a year early. The dev kits are already in the hands of a lot of devleopers. It is extremely likely that this game is currently being developed to be released on both PC and next gen systems. |

Once again I have corrected you and once again you resort to petty insults. all people are saying is that this is a glimpse into the next gen. Nobody said it is running on an 'xbox 3' nobody said it will 100% be released on an 'xbox 3'. All we know is this game is slated for 2014/2015 which means that the 'xbox 3' will be on the market, so it is safe to predict that it will either be released on the console or at least be on par with what the console is offering. |

@29 Where in the article does it say it's a projection, it says it is not knowing what it is being developed for and that is what people are saying, that it could be in development for one of the next gen consoles, just the pc or all 4 platforms(xbox 720,PS4, WiiU and PC). Seriously how many time's are people going say that it could be next gen and that devs have next gen dev kits before it gets through your head.

I gave up on the "newest games on consoles" idea once everyone started accepting that storyline, inovation, gameplay and immersion should be sacrificed for graphics.
It may look good (even though i dont see an incredibly huge differance) but when will good games start coming back out? i havent found a spectacular game since i played Shadow of the Colossus about 6 years ago. |

Didnt he say it was spec'd close to a ps3,not ps4 when it was shown off?
Now I've no faith whatsoever that it will see the light of day on current consoles,and if it does,in true kojima style it will look NOTHING like the videoes they showed.Look at the MGS4 videoes from years ago,when MGS4 was first shown off.The graphics were miles ahead of the finished product,with kojima saying the entire time "this is what the graphics will be for the entire game" and they ended up not even being close. |

He may have, I can't remember which site had him break it down :/ all I can remember was that he said the PC running was spec'd at a console hardware. The next gen consoles stick out in my mind for some reason but that doesn't mean they were in the article, I could just be mixing two different things together.
But yea Kojima reminds me a lot of Molyneux.. lots of promises that either don't live up or just aren't in the game come release. |
