@9- The armor looked too much like the elite knights. Then the enemy's mask reminded me of the mask of the child. Too many similarities.
I'm insanely excited. Dark Souls is one of the best games I've ever played. |

| Never got too into the game. It wasn't that it was hard but that it was frustrating and seemed unfair at times. Hopefully the sequel improves and moves past the main selling point that it was hard. |

Highly recommend it. It's not a difficult game at all, it just makes you play with a more "careful" mentality. (It certainly isn't like other modern games where you can rush into places with no strategy, expecting to do well.)

You can't say with all honesty that you don't die Atleast 20 times every time you play dark souls 1.

@ - Demon's Souls was the first Souls game, it was a PlayStation exclusive, this is why Dark Souls isn't Demon's Souls 2, because Sony didn't allow them to make it multi-platform. From Software were forced to make a new series, this is why we have Dark Souls. DarkSiders has nothing to do with either game. From Software take a lot of ideas from previous games they have made, for example Kin's Field. If you had played that back when it released in like, 2000 was it? You'd see a lot of enemies designed the same as enemies from the King's Field series. I believe Phalanx was an enemy from King's Field, and he was a boss in Demon's Souls who was then seen as a sort of easter egg in Dark Souls. I'll stop blabbering now :P
@48 - This is why so many people love it. It's a breath of fresh air to the constant hand holding gamers nowadays are used to. I assume you're that kind of gamer, seeing as you're busting a nut about it. |

@48, this game actually test's you, gives you a challenge, makes you work. It's not handed to you, it's not giving you large glowing arrows pointing the right direction, it's not run in randomly slashing or firing.
This game is honestly one of my all time favorite games, because it's why I started gaming, well, one of the reasons, to play something that challenge's you, especially on you're first play through.
The game doesn't try to reason to the casual gamer's crowd at all, and that's just so nice to see. You obviasly prefer to be handed you win ect. you don't like a challenge, you don't like to be tested. This isn't you're sort of game.
On topic, ... bring it. |

| the first game was so awesome and i greatly appreciate the hard difficulty which seems to beg getting lower and lower in other games but i couldnt get past 750 gamerscore because the game lacked a story (or an interesting and engaging one anyway) and once you mermorize enemy patherns and stuff it becomes easy/hard but somewhat manageable so i hope this game fixes that though judgeing my the trailer it will it doesnt really need to do anything besides that me thinks |

| I got DKS a year ago for Christmas, yet didn't really get into it until June of this year. I've put hundreds of hours into Dark Souls and consider it one of my favorite games of all time. When my friend asked me what I thought of the DKS2 trailer, I jumped on Xbox and watched the VGAs just for this trailer. Sooo excited. |
