A title update has been released for Dishonored addressing a number of bugs and issues. Available now, Update 1.2 includes the following fixes:

| How will playing on multple screens work? Do I need a HDMI to DVI adaptor chained to a DVI/ VGA Splitter? Also, when "Using Steam Offline" is mentioned, do they mean "Using Windblast Offline?" Glad the Granny Rags thing is fixed though, I am positive that is what caused my achievement to not unlock (every level had No Casualties checked). | ||

| @11 Dishonored is multi-platform. I played it on PC and it was the easiest game I played this year. Decent, but not great. | ||

| @16 The difficulty won't make a difference on a stealth run, and I stealthed through pretty much everything. Blink is ridiculously broken. | ||

| @17 Difficulty does matter on a stealth run. The difficulty not only affects the strength of enemies but how perceptive they are as well. Sneaking becomes harder as the difficulty increases. | ||

| Why should people play the game on the hardest difficulty. Isn't that what normal is there for? If the normal difficulty was too easy then why should someone have to play it again and ramp up the difficulty. I thought normal is how the game is meant to be played or perceived. As for me I thought the game was decent. I think I would have enjoyed it a little more if it was in 3rd person and the story didn't become so predictable after the 3rd encounter with the little girl. I don't think it will win GOTY though, but that is my opinion. | ||

| I didn't encounter any bugs, but I rarely do. Sometimes I think it's just ppl are bad at games (like other saying enemies notice you when they shouldn't, which never happened to me) and not that games are unfair. I am almost done with first playthrough and having played around with all of the abilities and gadgets, I think it will be good challenge to try and go on without killing or alerting anyone throughout whole game like Deus Ex. The only gripe I have with the game is that when behind cover it does not change to 3rd person (a la Deus Ex). I know you can lean, but it's more of hassle than anything else... | ||

| @ 17-The game is about doing things your way. If you think blink makes the game too easy then use it less often. No one is making you use it. @ 21-Actually the game was pretty much air-tight at launch. This patch seems to be just ironing out a few creases. Thankfully Bethesda were only the publishers on this one. | ||

| this is one of the very few games that I didn't find a problem during my play throughs. It almost takes you back to the era where games would come out and be a more stable, there was no such thing as a patch, the way it was released was the way it would remain | ||

| This has been a good year for the industry, Dishonored was an amazing game(and is getting sequels), Halo 4 (for me) did not disappoint, and we are getting info (slowly) on the new Xbox. Win. | ||

| SOB...of course they patch the door crash now! I hit that at the very end (the non-optional door going from the sewers back to the bar at the very end of the game) and was unable to finish it. It was a rental and I had to take it back before I could try to finish a replay. The crash happened EVERY TIME I went to the door, no matter how much I re-loaded. oh well, this game was awesome so I want to buy it at some point regardless. | ||

| @#27 - I don't call everyone I disagree with a troll, he just seemed overly contrary. Like he was trying to start an argument. Y'know, the definition of a troll? And there have been a shit ton of trolls on this site lately, so I'm not out of line for thinking he might be one as well. For instance, the douche at #11 is DEFINITELY a troll. I've seen Conquisidor do nothing but antagonise people in multiple threads. Not to mention that Blink is one of the best things about the game. I just wanted an explanation for why he felt it was "ridiculously broken". Y'know, to clarify what he meant? Because that's a very hyperbolic statement... But I also felt that he might not really have an explanation, which is why I also suggested I thought he might be trolling. My apologies for not having delineated my thought process in my original post which forced you to climb all the way up on that high horse to chastise me. | ||

| Great game but not GoTY for me, good to hear that a sequel is on the cards as it's a fantastic IP. There is certainly room for improvement and I look forward to seeing what they do for the next one. | ||
