Wish it was on Rock Band :(. Wasn't there suppose to be a Metallica GH thing going on too similar to what they did with Aerosmith?

They should have it to if you buy the CD, you get a code to download the GH songs for free.

I'm not a Metallica fran(they do have some good music, though), so I won't pick up their new album. But I agree with you Longhorns. That would be a great promotional opportunity. And if not free...at least a discount or a free song or something.

Gotta remember that Metallica was one of the lead spokespeople for the crackdown of music downloading during the Napster struggle. Maybe they have no appreciation for their fans. Don't quote me on that though.

I'm gonna have to see these songs before i buy them. I hate downloading songs that are too tough and then feel like I wasted money cause i can't beat them on expert.

Could have sworn that originally this was supposed to be released on Rock Band upon release. Did they jump ship?

Kind of agree about the last album, but read an article recently, being about the return of the solo's for the new album.....i'll proberbly get the new album first and make a decision from there.

I've read the new stuff is supposed to be like a mix between "Justice" and "Black Album", not like "St. Anger". I just hope that's true. Funny thing is, they've been asked recently about the downloading stuff (Napster, etc.) and they've said they don't care about it anymore. lolz

@17, Yes I have. But I mean like, harder rock, lately, most of Rock Bands DLC is some pretty light stuff.

I dont know if Im going to download this because I like Metallica's early stuff, but after 1991 it was a let down. If it turns out like St. Anger I stay as far away from this as humanly possible.

I hope that they have more of their stuff up to the Black album. Beyond that not too much exciting. It will be a nice change for all of the hardcore expert players out there as there will be some very hard songs on this game.

2 all of you Metallica haters, f*** you. And for those that are wondering, Metallica stated that it is supposed to sound in between the and justice for all album, and the black album. Also, the release date is September 15.
