Max Payne 3 Painful Memories DLC Gives Bad Dudes a Hangover

Max Payne is to receive a new multiplayer expansion pack next month.

Called “Painful Memories,” the pack includes four multiplayer maps; Roscoe Street Subway, Marty’s Bar, Shoot First and Canal De Panamá.

“Revisit the subway bloodbath from the original Max Payne in the Roscoe Street Subway map. Flashback to the dingy Hoboken watering hole at Marty’s Bar, open fire on the posh Branco family yacht in Shoot First and wage Gang Wars at Canal De Panamá,” says the blurb.

In addition to this, Painful Memories will also feature the IMG 5.56 and UAR-21 assault rifles, new avatars, items and the Hangover Burst, which - incredibly - gives respawning enemies a horrible post-booze up style hangover.

I... But.. What? Apparently it “causes enemies to respawn with blurred vision, reduced stamina and health.” Which is kinda brilliant.

Painful Memories hits XBL on December 4th for 800 MSP.

	Looks good. Shame I traded this in months ago when Rockstar fucked season pass owners over with their ineptitude.

	The hangover perk sounds pretty funny, although it may get fucking annoying if you keep getting hit with it

	I'm trying to ask myself whether it is worth trying to get back into MP3. I bought it on PC at release but didn't buy the season pass or any DLC, I have lost track at the amount of DLC for this game (and I just missed the season pass at £4.99 on Steam Autumn Sale). I've heard all the DLC isn't included with season pass anyway so I don't feel like I missed out too much but since I missed that offer for cheap DLC I'll probably continue to avoid MP3 completely.

	My multiplayer character is still reset at level 1, I've contacted rockstar maybe 10 times and no answer... Anyone know another way to get this fixed??

	Damn! Finally the Panama Canal level that everyone wanted as a Multiplayer Map! Kinda glad I held unto this game, that Hangover perk sounds awesome. Between this and Skyrim DLC next Tuesday, it'll be a good month.

	I thought the co-op mode was supposed to be released with this DLC? Has that been delayed or what?

	#9: There were originally 7 DLC map packs. Local Justice got released, leaving 6 packs. Rockstar then decided to 'consolidate' these 6 packs into 3. Disorganized Crime was the first of these, leaving 2. Painful Memories is the second of these leaving 1. I believe the final DLC is called Deathmatch Made In Heaven or something. Despite the title it also features the supposed Co-op mode that I've been hanging on for. Sure I love the multiplayer, but the co-op is the only DLC I wanted. Paying for maps alone? No thanks. Stick it with some single player or co-op stuff and it starts to sound like a deal.

	Ok thanks. I knew all about them consolidating the packs but for some reason I was thinking this was the one that included the co-op.

	@ 10, you left out Hostage Negotiation, which just dropped last month. And the last pack is, or at least was, called Trickle Down Economics, from what I remember on Rockstar's site.

	MP was so bad even I stopped playing it after 2/3 weeks and I usually have pretty low standards for MP (I enjoyed AC MP and Bioshock MP for example). I am surprised they are even still supporting this, but I guess they don't have a choice now that few ppl actualy paid for it...
