E3 2008: I Am Alive Unveiled

At the Ubisoft E3 2008 press conference a few minutes ago, Ubisoft closed their showcase with a short teaser trailer for the rumoured title "I Am Alive". The trailer shows inhabitants of a unnamed but devastated city desperately try to get their hands of a precious bottle of water. As they disappear in to the ground, Adam makes his way to the surface where the camera zooms out to show a cityscape... Or should we say the remains of one. The trailer then cuts to 6 days earlier where it appears that the original destruction began.

The new IP is rumoured to be headed by Assassin's Creed producer Jade Raymond and going by the initial 2 minute teaser, the game should be a real treat.

UPDATE: Good old Gametrailers were on the ball and added a video within minutes. Enjoy.

haha I clicked on this thinking it was the new portal game...I guess that's Still Alive.

The concept of the video looks cool and the dust cloud reminded me of the ever so awesome Cloverfield, but anyone can make a cool CG video...let's wait and see some game footage before we get too hyped up.

Ha - indeed - my first thought was I am Legend...
It does look stunning. Loved the animation as he climbed up the rocks... - which you would expect from the producers of Assassin's Creed - but lets hope it doesnt follow in Creeds footsteps too much and become another "should have been so much more" game

Its a promotional trailer with no ingame fottage of course it looks nice,so bit to early to get carried away.

Nice idea for a game though, if it is an earth quake its not orginal though as There was a PS2 game a few years back which I cant remember then name of.

@39. I think you mean Disaster report/SOS the final escape. There was an earthquake on a man built island and you had to survive. A great game. It would be nice if this game was something like it. I mean, "I am alive" is something I imaging you say after a disaster.
