Live-action Metro: Last Light Trailer Focuses on The Preacher

Lee Bradley

Remember the nutty preacher dude from Metro: Last Light’s, frankly brilliant, live-action short film? Well, he’s back.

In another live-action vid for the upcoming Russian survival-action-horror title, the preacher takes centre stage. He hasn’t cheered up since the last time we saw him.

So yeah, it’s great. But if we could have some gameplay footage next time, that’d be ace too.

Metro: Last Light is out next year.

  • Stoked!
  • Metro!!!!
  • Looking forward to this. Loved Metro 2033 and can't wait for more.
  • Liked the first one but didn`t really cared much for those outside levels/parts. Atmosphere underground was great but as soon as you went outside, i dont know but it didnt feel the same.
  • :) That is all
  • I am defo going to get this on day one. I bet it will be great game, but I will do it just to try and support THQ next year=)
  • I wonder if we'll meet this guy in the game? That was pretty cool, regardless. By the way, I'm surprised X360A hasn't posted this, but the MP part of Metro: Last Light has been cut! They heard our cries and have decided to focus on the story only, at least until the game launches, it may be added later as DLC or used for the next Metro game.
  • He's not the nutty one, everyone else is for not listening to him.
  • @7, I imagine that we'll have to liberate a station from him, that was what the short seemed to be implying.
  • THQ need to be like Hostess, okay. hint, hint.
  • You would think that if they're having financial troubles they wouldn't be making live action trailers....seems it'd be cheaper to just use in game resources to make one
  • @11 It's not like they've just made the videos. In all likeliness they've been sitting on them all for 6 months to a year. Video itself was somewhat meh, but regardless it'll be a day-one purchase for me. Metro 2033 was just so freaking awesome. I hope they won't mess this one up.
  • This kinda reminds me of that of the live-action spot they did for Darksiders II. What's the deal with these live action trailers? Even the one for Borderlands 2 was kinda lame... :/
