| Please be true. Loved Revelations on the 3DS, in fact its probably my favourite RE game since the REmake first emerged on the Cube. Would gladly replay it for the 5th time and pick up some achievements in the process :D |

| Revelations plays with the monsters, controls and camera of the new games with the puzzles, atmosphere and exploration of the older games. It's an excellent cross between both worlds and if this news rings true, a great treat for those without a 3DS. |

| Ooh hope this is true! Played re5 heaps on Xbox then tried it on pc in 3d and was really impressed, hoping they retain the 3d aspect if it does come to Xbox. |

| @11 - To be honest I can see it transfering across OK. Revelations on the 3DS hardly featured stacks of touch-screen gameplay, it was mainly just used as a map. |

| Yeah please. I don't care if upgrade graphics from 3DS version or just port but bring it with achievements. I want more Resi Evil with achievements. Resident Evil 1 (GC version), Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 is best series of all. I over read many reviews positive about this Resident Evil: Revelations is best Resident Evil game in 2012 over Resi Evil 6 and Operation Raccoon City. Well Revelations already best Resi Evil in 2012 so it is should bring over onto consoles. Yes just port or upgrade. I don't care again. Preorder it once date is real by Capcom!! :) |

Got a 3DS fairly cheap yesterday so I'm picking Revelations up once I get paid next.
Although a console release is amazing as well. The 3DS version has graphics as good as RE5 did (or at least I reckon it did), so if they actually worked at it, they could make it look spectacular. Plus it'd play well, haha. |

Sort of agree with @23
Firstly 4 was ok as a spin-off game (that's how it felt to me due to gameplay, etc...)
5 felt like making the game worse than 4, well 6 was the worst resident evil I have ever played. I'm sort of concerned about Revelations since haven't played it but people are claiming that's it's better than the horrible re6 so if they do port then I might give it a look. |

@ 27 i mostly agree with you. however neither one of those franchises have delivered 6 games across many platforms in the last year, all of wich sucked ass.
thats my opinion and it is a fact based one. having played RE games in the past, just completed Re5, and tried out both RE6 and Racoon city (i am a gamer with many consoles, not an xbox fanboy), read many reviews, watched many videos and spent more time conversating about these game than you have played them.
RESIDENT EVIL SUCKS ASS.
that doesnt mean they always have, sadly however the stae of them now is shit.
also lets get the site fixed x360a. my gt is not getting scanned again. |

don`t care for revelations and all those "hollywood" Resi Games, sick and tired of Resident Evil or should i say "Gears of Evil". They chosed a path (Third Person Action Shooter) where is not such a thing like "going back" (going back to the roots).
Re6 was the final blow for me, after getting the achievements and i threw the damn game into a corner, where it belongs.
The only way Crapcom get money from me is to release Resident Evil 1,2 and 3 as a HD DISC (not DLC) Edition.
Revelations well...i have the same feeling like i had with RE4...not good not bad..somewhere in the middle.
I would rather die to get some new informations about "Project Zwei" with the mastermind Shinji Mikami and the awesome "Star Cast".
Anyway...peace...

The problem today is a lot of us 'classic' resident evil fans want our fixed camera angles which is why perfect, quite original just like the first dino crisis but the problem with Capcom is somebody keeps feeding them stupid idea's just resident evil 4.5 where it was supposed to be ghosts instead then resident evil 4 came out with some barely interesting story while randomly throwing moby dick, turning dino crisis 2 into stargate sg1 (watch the dino2intro) then the series of course ended with dino crisis 3:the search for spock or w/e that space was about.
Basically capcom need to rethink what made them popular in the first place. People will always like anything with the brand name even it's terrible like the live action resident evil movies where the only reason alice/milla is the main character, forcing everyone else to be sidekicks is because she's doing the director.............. Not what she claims which is she thinks the only reason resident evil franchise exists is because of her stupid movies. At least Id software know when to quit when they made barely fun doom movie but instead Capcom seem to care only for milking the series even if it's an insult to my childhood. |

Played the demo on 3ds...
All of you saying it'll be like 6 are in fact wrong.

Innovation in gaming is in massive decline because of the sheep and that is why RE 5+6 and Dead Space 3 are now generic shooters too. |

@41 dude your making crap up. I already stated previously I'm like a fanboy of the halo series while halo 4 is not the same, I hated it for that reason (facepalm) When you start telling me when their opinion should be then your opinion becomes degrading. Plus this 'sheepdog' has a shit load of variety in games thant most people in these forums. Halo/Deadspace are not the only genre/gamestyle games that I play..........
Also innovation is only dead for certain company's. Capcom wrecked devil may cry, resident evil. Deadspace 3 I don't have opinion since isn't out yet. Sonic had a lot of critism and that seems to be recovering pretty well. My lecturer once told me innovation doesn't exist, you know why he was wrong? because at the end of the day any game designer like myself can create original idea's. Happy wars was an original idea, it was free but the problem is some company's are too scared to take risks. |

You have every single Halo and COD game on your tag (not to mention a number of Battlefields). You didn't like Reach but bought Halo 4. You don't like 4 but I'd bet my right nut you will buy 5 or whatever Halo spin off game comes next instead of trying something new. This makes you a sheep and because of these sheep companies wont take pointless risks and lose profit, less and less games will be made until it's just generic shooter after generic shooter. |

cod and halo aren't in the same league as each other. cod is just the madden model of releasing the same game each year (except instead of roster changes, they do map changes). halo actually has a single player mode worth mentioning, and they don't do annual releases |
