| Sounds good but I'm tired of getting burned by capcom's constant re-release schedule and locked on disc dlc. Capcom's idea of achievements are also always horrible grinds. Ashame. |

4 characters will be unlocked from the start, 6 will be unlockable in game, 26 will be on the disc but will only be unlockable at 800msp a piece ANDDDDD the piece de resistance shall be 39 downloadable characters that ARNT on the disc sold in bundles of 6 at 1600msp. (Did I mention that there will be a mega super edition that has 40 extra characters releasd 6 months after the first release?)

| I'm not getting excited about this yet. It's probably merely a huge compilation of their old games or something. I would hope that it's a new one, but Capcom and hope don't go together. Still, I'll definitely buy it if it turns out to be the real deal. |

You didn't see any Rival School characters in that pic? Take a look at Batsu, Daigo, Roberto there in the front, Kyosuke is in front of Bison, Tiffany Lords is in front of Dhalsim. Not to mention of course, Sakura. So we should definitely see some Rival School characters here. |

Oh man this is a disc locked content heaven. Imagine all the extra characters they will be able to lock on disc, all the costumes...any other crap they feel.
I guess there will be at least £200 worth of content locked away. |

| better include Rival Schools/Project Justice and Power Stone characters....if it includes other non-fighting franchises, Asura, Gene from Godhand, Mega Man, Zero, and a Breath of Fire character ( from 1-4, not that piece of shit Dragon Quarter ) would be awesome...though Mega Man & Zero could count due to the Capcom Vs series |

Yeah I shouldn't have used that as staple for the game. I just thought it was a great reference to go off of. I mean like #22 said. They need to include characters from those games mentioned in his/her post and also games like Okami, Onimusha, etc to make it a TRUE Capcom experience as those games are all trademarked by them.

The whole 'capcom going to make only a dozen fighters available with dlc to unlock the rest and super, ultimate versions later on' posts stopped being funny after SSF4 came out. Get over it already.
As for this game (great piece of fan art btw, big props to the creator) it most likely will be a compilation of fighting games, though a new IP (so to speak) would be pretty cool. I doubt they'd make a game where they'd have only Cacpom characters fighting each other though the licensing of said characters would be much easier to procure then Tatsunoku's or Marvel's or SNK's or Tekken's would be so how knows for sure until we hear more on the subject. |
