| Was this game going cheap in super markets in the UK, Asda namely? I happened to be heading down there for a late night shop and saw about 70 people just hanging around the front of the shop. Thought there was some big ruck going on until I realised they were all waiting for the midnight release of the game. |

Ok now if you could only break it down to 360 sales alone. Remember this is probably including 360, ps3 AND pc sales. If analysts would stop choking on Acti's cocks and put legit 360 sales out there, i'm sure those numbers would be alot closer to halo 4 or even AC3.
This game is certainly the best of the series no doubt and i absolutely love it but i'm tired of ppl praising this more than god himself. Any fanboy who rages over this don't believe me? Look at the amount of ppl online playing this year. The most i have seen are close to 400k. Halo 4 has just about that everyday if not a little less. Remwmber |

Companies don't keep track of those who don't buy a game. I agree with number 26. I really don't understand how so many people jump on the hate wagon yet activision achieve more sales with each game.

| Personally, I don't think the "haters" of COD are who they are because they dislike the game. I mean, we all dislike some games and like others. I think, and this is just my opinion, some people dislike COD because of the stereotypes and the type of gamers it creates. You know, those people that play only COD and nothing else and are all like "CALL OF DUTY IS THE BEST GAME OUT THERE AND ALL OF YOUR FAVORITE GAMES SUCK!!11!" (A slight dramatization, but that's essentially what they say). I have a few friends like that, and that's personally why I dislike it. I have nothing against the game itself, but against the people that it creates that think they are so cool because they put months of their life into getting to the highest Prestige. |

@#2 & #7 I proud myself in having my own opinion on every matter and I do enjoy CoD. If you think I am not smart or intellectual jsut because you say so, makes you a fucking hypocrite. The game is awesome and it shows by numbers. Amittedly I do not buy it for MP (like most of it's fan base),but I will deny how easy it is to pick up and play. Accessibility is main thing ppl always come back to.
Just look at HALO, now that it plays almost exactly like CoD I am able to finish in the top 3 95% of the time. It's a recipe for success if nothing else and your biased comments won't change shit in the end. |

| The review is up... Use the evidence to judge it. I know I might end up buying it, but the fact that it got mediocre reviews from this site (despite an 80 score, wtf?) makes me think twice. I mean, the reviewer by their own admission says that the game is a little stale, yet it still gets an 80 overall? I think that its just part and parcel of the entire issue... Rework the game just enough to call it new, add a few new visual elements but nothing too innovative, repackage it, and it'll get middle of the road reviews and hundreds of millions in reviews. Sad state of affairs. |

I heard the actual sales comes from the stores buying not for the stores selling? we sell games where I work and we didn't sell out of Blops2 games yet we ran out of Fifa games when that launched so I guess it makes sense for it to be $500M if it's based on stores buying and not them selling. |

| Well, the hit detection is good, this time you get rewarded for helping with objectives, and then there's zombies, party games, decent single player campaign. I like this game a lot, it's been a while since they made an amazing cod game though. MW2&3 sucked and BO1 was decent at best. |

It's funny all the so called intellectuals still bought this game and realized it sucked so they returned it. I believe these are the same "intellectuals" who complained about MW3 and returned it, and BO1 and returned it, etc. etc.

Sure there are a lot of other quality games, who says you can't buy them too? because you bought call of duty? Unless you are on a budget then it doesn't matter what so ever.. even then buy what you enjoy.
I've bought the last couple on release, I even went to the midnight openings for MW3 and Battlefield. I didn't feel I got my moneys worth out of MW3 so I didn't feel I would get $60 worth of enjoyment out of this one. I loved Black Ops 1 so when it hit's $40 on boxing day, that's when I will pick it up. That is how much it is worth to me.
Other people love getting them on release and put tons of hours into them, calling them unintelligent for buying what they will enjoy is one of the most stupid things I have ever heard. |

| Call of Duty will always receive praise and hate. This game is a HUGE step up from the horrible MW3, but is no way the best CoD out. I loved WaW and BO1 personally, but the biggest issue with this game is not the content, but how people play it. I enjoy this game. It has a good story (Woods is my favorite CoD character), and Zombies is always fun. There have been better CoD games, but this one really isn't that bad. |

I didnt buy the game so I can't say if it's good or not. I can say however that I'm not even a bit curious about it at all. That's probably because I played all the COD games before this one. To me it feels like playing yet another Fifa with new teams and rosters. And in the end I found that I was only looking for the same feel I had when playing a predecessor.
I do think Activisions done something right to get this result. They probably have a good marketing division.
If you want to play it buy it if not than don't or go for a second hand copy. I've seen many of those already. |

| Guys stop hatting on such a good game. They made it more realistic while ya are stuck in fantasy land playing Halo. I admit there are some fault to this game but in the end, I still enjoy it. So what if it's a 3rd party game and it has sales put together of the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, still went over the top in all. Some people just can't see a good game when they see one. When I first started playing the 1st Black Ops, I admit, I wasn't into it. But it took time for me to like it. MW3 sucked ass with the try hard perk setup and gun loadouts. Black Ops 2 is the same as well. They took off Slight of Hand and I really use that a lot. But I got the hang of it without it. The prone movement got way more realistic. If ya hate it so much, than stop looking onto their pages and reading the whole thing. Plus, Halo's acting sucks ass |

They give you Nuketown 2026 when you buy the game, and purchasing the season pass get's you Nuketown Zombies -_-
A lot of game sells their dlc's for the same price. $15 for Black Ops 2 dlcs were a good enough price. What was it, 4 Multiplayer maps and a new Zombie Map. That's 5 maps in one dlc for $15, that's a bad ass price. And on the last dlc, 5 zombie maps, 4 from WaW and 1 new map, that was a good price. Plus Halo Reach dlcs are like $10 still and so are MW2 anyway dumbass |
