Conference Over, No Bungie Announcement... Oh Look Written Monday, July 14, 2008 by Dan Webb So the Microsoft Conference is over. It was a great ride with some fantastic announcements and look out for our detailed round up later, but there was one thing missing... And that was the Bungie announcement that we had all been intrigued about. Well, it appears as if that isn't over. If you head on over to Bungie.net now, you will see it has been hijacked by Bungie cyber ninjas and the main page now contains a timer. The timer currently has 1 day, 18 hours on it. Typical Bungie. Don't want to be part of the main show, they want their own show. So at 3PM GMT on Wednesday, the timer will hit 0 and we'll see what all the anticipation is about. We can't wait... No seriously, we can't. | |

Microsoft OWNS the rights to Halo so Bungie can't do anything unless Microsoft lets them. If Halo 4 was going to be announced, Microsoft would have made it known during the main event. Bungie already stated that there will be no Halo 4. No need to get into contracts and such. At the end of the video it says something like... "Have a Cold one on us." "Download the Cold Storage Map, for Free." "07.07.08" "Love, Bungie" BUUUTTTT.... After a split second or two the part that says, "Love, Bungie" turns into a message that reads.. "KEEP IT CLEAN" Then quickly turns back to "Love, Bungie", just like what happen with Halo 2 and I Love Bees. Didn't know if anyone found this or not yet but thought I'd share it with everyone. |
