Haha, that is comical. "Here have an Xbox console worth £180 you US citizens. Here UK citizens, we are equally as proud, have a digital helmet for your avatar worth...nothing" I know the amount of people getting these things won't be high but that is abysmal for the UK. Because i'm not One the few i kinda find is funny and pretty insulting, i feel sorry for those 10 year people. |

Wow, most of your parents didn't teach you to be grateful. Microsoft CHOSE to give out free stuff, you were never paying for it. Now you're not happy with what they have CHOSEN to give you for free? Are you forgetting the deals you get every week? The free Xbox LIVE weekends? Gold exclusives? |

| @16 Technically this helmet is worth all the years people have paid for the XBL since they never "gave" us something, they only "make us pay" for something. Though I like XBL, you must 60€ every year (while PS3 and Wii live are free (though less good)) (And yeah, on the Internet you can find it cheaper) for what ? nothing special...I mean, if there really was a TRUE service for paying members (Like free games with PSN + for instance) but no...you pay to have the right to play multi...Demos, discounts and all...This shouldn't be why we pay for, hence we pay just for live and if someone's been paying 600 € just for being able to play on live, rewarding him with a console (that you must admit must be reaaaaaaly cheap to produce since the XBOX360 is on its last years) MEANS something. It means thank you for your fidelity. If you receive a Helmet for an avatar, it also means something...It means, fuck you, Europe, you don't deserve anything...And though I'm not part of those 10-years members, I sincerly sympathize with them cause it sucks to be taken for a useless customer from a company you've supported for 10 years... |

Guys, MS is not to blame for europeans not getting consoles, or can participate with raffles and all other actions.... The ones to blame for that are the governments of European country's... live in the Netherlands myself. And I know for a fact that all European countrys have strict rules and regulations concerning prizes to be won overseas. Do not know for sure about England, but its usually the law wich prevents those things.... |

| Helmet looks ok to me, but perhaps giving all of us in Europe 500 Microsoft points might have been a better idea or even a popular game that doesn't involve using Kinect (not Wreckateer) given away for free. At the moment due to the differing offers on both sides of the water, the European 'deal' does look poor. |

Microshaft could have given those entitled to this an 'actual' helmet that could sit on ones mantlepiece. Like One of those cheap plastic things with elastic on to hold it to your face. Then atleast you could parade around your living room looking like a proper tool whilst feeling proud of yourself safe in the knowledge that only a select few can and will look as ridiculous as you. Either that or just stick it on your Avatar and have everyone bow down to your god like status in gaming........... |

| It was obvious that Microsoft would go for something like this. Business' are not in the habit of giving stuff away for free. It may suck, and seem like a kick in the balls, but its something at least. I game for fun and enjoyment, not because I expect a freebie. Free msp would have been better for everyone concerned, but its best to just move on and enjoy gaming, and if its affecting you too much, change consoles. |

Some people are just dumb, getting a "free" helmet is the same thing as getting nothing. So you think spending hundreds of dollars to get a "free" helmet is worth it? This is the reason why things like this continue, people think well as long as I get some digital meaningless thing for free, at least I get something so why not keep paying up the ass. I like Xbox but it's just not right how PSN actually GIVES you stuff just for paying for a service that's already FREE. Xbox makes you pay/buy to get SOME back. Yea I like that logic so much better, thanks for the free helmet, whoopee here's $60 more, maybe next time I'll get a suit to go with it. By the way the helmet isn't UK exclusive lol |

I don't understand why people are going on about 'work' and 'loyalty'. Since when did people buy consoles to work on? I just bought what in my opinion is the best console available and buy the games that I enjoy playing. I didn't buy my Xbox hoping that 10 years down the line I'd be rewarded for my 'loyalty'. If I weren't happy with the 360 I'd switch. |

Everyone moaning about a free avatar helmet or lack of. I think your gratitude should lie in the fact you have an Xbox to play on and enjoy in the first place. In you or your parents having a job to fund the console and the games and the membership so you can enjoy yourself. I think your gratitude should lie in having that, rather than perhaps living in an underdeveloped continent where you may not even have a house. First World Problems. Get. A. Grip. |

I understand that ppl gets upset due to the big difference of what they will get, just because of the country they live in. But that ppl gets upset they "only" get a free helmet now when they tried so hard and spended all those many thousands of hours geting these AP(Achievement points), i really don't get that.. should you really get rewarded because YOU decided that YOU wnated to spend serveral or lots of hours doing achievements? i would meen it was you own choice so don't get mad that you don't get more, you should just instead be happy with what you get totally FREE. Remember AP is only, and only for your own plesure. Im pretty sure thay MS don't really give a damn about you liking AP or not. |
