EA Reveals Fuse Pre-Order Incentives

Insomniac and EA have revealed pre-order bonuses for 4-player co-op shooter Fuse, with a bunch of perks and cosmetic enhancements for the game's four elite agents. Dalton Brooks, Izzy Sinclair, Naya Deveraux and Jacob Kimble will each be able to equip special armour and a damage boost on one-handed weapons.

Fuse's pre-order bonuses include:

  • Four Hyperion Prototype Agent Armour Skins - Upgrade your agents’ look with four special, state-of-the-art armor skins discovered inside the top-secret Hyperion Base
  • Four Hyperion Prototype Weapon Skins - Customise your Fuse weapons with four skins based on each of the original prototypes developed inside Hyperion Base
  • Quickdraw Team Perk - Increase your damage with this team perk adding powerful Fuse elements to all one-handed weapons for all four characters in your squad

A 4-player action shooter, Fuse has each member of its crack squad rocking a unique fuse-powered weapon with its own individual properties that can be combined to devastating effect. You can read our hands-on preview here to find out more. Fuse is out in spring 2013.

@2 those games were good and so was their best work Ratchet and Clank.

The only reason this game is getting any attention from me is because its by Insomniac

When I pre-order a game, I want the game to work on release and not be plagued by glitches/bugs and then I'm forced to wait for an update. Sadly, this happens all too often nowadays and I fear that this game will suffer from this on account of them having to change pretty much everything about it and of course, by EA's involvement. Pre-order incentives are pointless, priorities please.

@9 Hate to break it to you but 'Hyperion' predates Borderlands by a few thousand years.

OT: Cant see this game bringing anything new to the table but may check out a demo if it becomes available.

I don't know why but Hyperion sounds familiar... Anyway, I wish devs gave up on bs preorder shit and instead started putting everything in the game for eveyrone to enjoy.

This game is on my radar because I love Resistance and Ratchet & Clank. Insomniac is actually a very creative studio and I hope the generic look gives way to some original gameplay!

If it's anything like the exclusives for the Resistance games, then they won't ever release them on the store later. Just saying, the weapon skins could look really cool like the Brute Minigun in Resistance 2 which everyone wanted. :)

I'm making a game. It's about an assassin but seen through the eyes of a current day protagonist through a machine called the animus. It's not a copy though cos animus has been around since roman times.... Lol
