Revolution, Assassin's Creed III's First Multiplayer Event is Underway

"North America, XVIIIth century. The thirteen colonies are on the brink of revolution.

“Chaos is spreading like wildfire and everyone is trying to survive, even at the expense of others. But the free citizens of the liberated territories can only defeat tyranny if they stand united. Will you join the fight for freedom?"

And with that, Assassin’s Creed III’s first multiplayer even has begun.

Called Revolution, the event is offering a series of prizes and incentives; one for taking part, one for achieving an individual goal and one for completing a community-wide goal.

This time out the community goal is to amass 3 million kills. "The Community Reward for this event reveals more of the Multiplayer story," says Ubi.

You can access Revolution through the game’s multiplayer menu. Happy hunting.

  • This sound's kinda like those Mass Effect 3 community event's...
  • I've still only played one mp round since release day ! maybe this will motivate me to play a few rounds.
  • This might motivate me to get to level 20 in MP.
  • @1 except ME3 MP sucked balls
  • Crap! I need to start on this then. I've been so wrapped up in Halo that I haven't touched my copy of Creed yet. And @4 I actually liked ME's MP. Wasn't very deep but I enjoyed it.
  • @5 Same here, ME3 MP was pretty fun. Especially head butting people as a Krogan.
  • #4 you should have loved it then. Ball-sucker is your middle name, and your expert subject in Mastermind.
  • Well I think I'll finally try the multilayer. I've been too busy with the single player to even think about it.
  • @8, yeah same, Got Perfectionist yesterday and need to finish off the optional objectives for some of the naval missions today for Completionist. Expert timing Ubisoft. Some details on the individual goal and length of the event would have been useful, Ubi. If this is anything like Rockstar's community events I've already missed it.
  • @1 Except ME3's multiplayer is actually better than this. I'm trying to give AC3 MP the benefit of the doubt, but for some reason I far preferred AC:R's multiplayer. Maybe it's the ridiculous UI. I like the whole Abstergo entertainment touch, but its cluttered as hell, and I can never actually connect to a game... :(
  • ME MP was fun for few days and than it just got stale. Even free shit could not bring me back to it. AC MP on other hand is stellar work and I have leveled up to max (without presitges mind you) in 2 previous games, just as I plan to do in this one. You will see me online soon=P
  • Still wish they would of did a co-op type MP.
  • @4 - I know they say to write about what you know, but c'mon man, you're taking it a little too far.
  • @12 They did. It's called Wolfpack
  • I finally completed the Single Player Story today, so this gives me an excuse to get back onto the MP & get to Level 20.
  • Guess I'll be having a look at this at somepoint over next day or 2. not played any mp since launch day, been too caught up in sp and on Halo 4.
  • Well, looks like I can't avoid multiplayer any longer. I've been trying to 100% the single player as well as keep up on some of the other new games... So many games to beat, such little time!
  • @12 its called WOLFPACK bro 4-player coop lol me I'm just not a fan of the cat and mouse Shit it gets annoying tryin to b all stealthy to get. 1 kill only to have some Shit head running around like its Cock of Dooty and killing my target, fuckin stupid. I would have liked an endless enemy deal like in AC:B VR mode except coop to see how many kills you and your coop partner could amass before time runs out or competing against your coop partner for most kills by the end of the timer lol
  • we will never achieve 3 million kills. also, i think they already screwed it down to 1.5 million kills. and we even can't make it to that goal.. silly stuff
