| I hope it does. I lost interest in the game hearing this when the dlc came out, knowing my game could be erased and more story right on the tail of me already spending a month playing the game kind of put me off it for a while. Hope to get back to it after I finish AC3. |

Game is still freezing. I hope they fix that.
Loads of people on the gearbox support forums claiming this new update reset the bad ass ranks again.
Can't confirm this myself as the game won't boot past the unreal logo. |

| One of my mates had his badass rank reset just after he downloaded update. Mine was fine, but his went all the way back to zero. Might be a good idea to wait until they completely fix this to play online. |

We've had a response from Gearbox saying they are aware and working on it. They have admitted they are being noncommital regarding the amount of data they can restore as they have not finished testing the code yet (which is fair enough I guess). |

For reference, it seems the badass rank glitch is caused if the loading of your game profile is interrupted - this will most commonly happen when you are logged out of live to install a patch whilst loading the game. This is why people are claiming the patches cause the problem.
It's not the patch itself, but the timing of the system kicking you out of live whilst the game tries to load your profile. |

That's nothing. 4years ago I found an Xbox ambassador had hacked achievements on his list, I had undeniable proof (impossible timeframe on timestamps, impossible unlock order and posts made by a guy with the same name on 360 modding forums asking for help hacking his profile) and you know what?
He is still an Xbox ambassador to this day. |

@ 12 Oh yes they do, I've been perma banned before for doing alot less.
I personaly wont be playing this untill I officialy hear that the badass/skins/keys glitch gets fixed.
I have friends who have lost everything because of the past patch and I still think its safer not to play untill everything is fixed, not just one thing! I still dont feel that my game is safe. |

You constantly reporting him is a waste of time. If anything, you would more likely come under suspicion for repeatedly reporting the same person.
It's annoying, but at the end of the day, does his Borderlands character really make much of a difference to you or your gameplaying experience?

| This is good progress. A key thing to remember for all of you complaining out there, you need to make sure you report any problems over to the developers. Otherwise they will not be able to fix the problems. I think so many people are quick to get upset and complain, but they cannot solve any problems without the awareness. Keep it in mind. |

| Borderlands games might have their bugs and glitches but you have to respect Gearbox for keeping the fans updated and working on patches, most devs lose interested as soon as the game is released. Like many others though I wont be playing this again until the bugs are fixed, losing progress is shit |
