| Only thing I disliked about Dead Island was the horrendous animations for the characters and the voice acting, the lag was soon fixed so they SHOULD learn the lesson for this. It had so much fucking potential, even with those faults I still loved it. Although I still have nightmares about going through those sewers on my own... |

| So many people complained about the first game, but I loved it. I did have a character get corrupt and have to start over, and the bugged location achievement pissed me off, but I still enjoyed the hell out of that game. The DLCs were garbage tho, if they do DLC for the next game they need to do a better job and make them both story based and CO-OP. You can't make single player only DLC for a co-op based game, it's just wrong. But I'm looking forward to the next one, I wanna kill more zombies in bikinis! |

I've had mine pre-ordered for a couple weeks. Got a nifty steelbook and everything. After putting off getting the game for almost a year, I picked it up, and have logged 150+hrs thus far. |

| Awesome. I enjoyed Dead Island and one of most enjoyment games in 2011. Buggy game of course but still fun and good game. Load of patched already after launched. I believe Riptide will have bugs then patches later on or on day of release just like many games at recent. |

| @1 it doesn't bother me much if GAME get something that just has a couple of skins for example i'll just buy the standard riptide game from anywhere, it annoys me though when GAME gets an exclusive like the bioshock infinite songbird edition, i would love that statue but i loathe GAME and don't want to give them a penny. |

@15 and 166 - This game happens directly after the events of the first game. Its a true sequel, with the exact same characters (plus 1 new person). There is a huge game informer article about it. You can import your current characters into the new game.
I wont give any spoilers, but the beginning of Riptide is the very end of the first game. Riptide starts exactly where Dead Island stops. It is not a spin-off but a direct continuation of the first game.
With that being said...I cant wait for Riptide to come out. |

| Dead Island is one of the best Co-Op games. Only problem is it really only fun with co-op, so Ill find a partner to play with :) |

Great news, my favorite memory from the first rodeo was when I got a corrupted profile around level 45 and couldn't play it anymore because it froze my system everytime I loaded my game and months went by without a fix. But I'm sure this one will be perfect.
