What if you would be one of the victims of a cancer and someone said to you: "I don't care about you. I could do something good for your cause and I would get something back, but I rather not, because I want them to bee, rather than you getting a penny to help out with your sickness."
IMO, I think this is a great thing to do. |

While I agree that people shouldn't complain about something that is for a good cause, your argument of "don't like it, don't buy it" isn't valid. The people that do have a problem with are obviously upset that it cost something and don't want to buy it. Telling them "don't like it don't buy it" doesn't make sense. I agree with your stance on the issue but your particular argument is flawed. That phrase is almost always used to exempt something from criticism mostly because the person is butthurt. Also people always add "simple as that" to the end of the phrase. It shows that there's no thought put into it and that the phrase is being parroted. |
