Darksiders 2 Abyssal Forge DLC Detailed, Dated, Priced

THQ has outlined the second proper downloadable content pack for Darksiders II. It’s called Abyssal Forge.

“The Abyssal Forge is a living machine designed to harness the unfocussed dark power of the Abyss and create the most powerful legendary weapons, says the blurb over at the official Darksiders site.

“The Maker who built this abomination, known only as the Mad Smith, was shunned by his own people and sealed away in the Shadow Lands with his creation. However, the forge hasn’t remained dormant all those years of captivity; it has constructed a vast army and now threatens all creation.”

The DLC adds the swamp-like Shadow Lands, which includes two new dungeons, new enemies, new secrets and plenty of fresh loot. It’s hard too, apparently, crafted to “test your mettle against the hardest enemies and puzzles yet.”

The Abyssal Forge will be available to download from Tuesday 30th October for 800 MSP.

	Good Lord this site does attract the children doesn't it? Never once seen Epic Fail Will post anything that isn't some childish attempt at trolling. On topic, I'm curious if this will have any achievements?

	1000g'd the game, but still got the season pass and looking forward to this, achievements or not, this game is awesome :D

	Holy shit, so that's how good this game looks on PC O_O Awesome! OT: Sounds like fun, I have plenty of other stuff to play, but will most likely pick up all of the DLC eventually.

	If the content is really good, I'm willing to get a 2nd hand copy to play it even though I 1000G-ed the game. I'm sure those no-achievement-no-buy players are goign to thumb-down me, but I hope this DLC has no achievement though. Don't wanna ruin my perfect all-games-1000G record.

	They still need to fix all the glitches and problems with the game, then maybe i can play it again.

	all the bugs and the game not really having much replayability have kinda killed it for me. probably going to wait for some DOTWs on the DLCs.

	It comes out the same day as AC3 & Most Wanted? Why did they decide that? A day earlier would have been great; most people will finish it in a few hours and it doesn't get in the way of newer releases

	Darksiders 2 and Sleeping Dogs DLC both same day, sweeeettttt. Then AC3 the day after, followed by NFS, and WWE13 2 days after, what a fantastic week.

	Was absolutely stoked at the end of DS1 2 years ago. Then I got DS2 and was pretty disappointed. I have the season pass, so I may get this eventually when I buy the game for $10.

	So I am confused is there going to be achievements or not?? If not I think I will trade it in as Best Buy has 100% bonus credit. The game was kind of a let down coming from the incredible first game, w/o more achievements there is just no reason to go back to it.

	I sure did like this game, but I really just have too much on my plate right now to give this DLC a go. I didn't even get the Season Pass so I'll probably just stay on the sideline for this one.

	Looks awesome! I wonder if the Abyssal Armor that War had to collect in DS 1t will have any connection to the Abyssal Forge.

	Loved Darksiders II back in August this year and got 1000G that time. I hope DLC add new achievements otherwise I not get if DLC don't have achievements. But DLC look interests though. :)
