| @3,5 and 9, grow the fuck up and learn history, I'm British but I also know what history is, also watch the other trailer's before making yourself look like small brained, idiotic chavs, as if you have watched them then you will have noticed you do kill Americans and in one of the trailer's it actually say's in it "when the people you are fighting for turn there back on you" so I'm taking it Connor will eventually realize that the American's/American settler's want his people's land for there own. |

| @12, no I was not trying to imply we were the clear cut bad guys, but the fact that the settler's were fighting for there own freedom and the fact that Connor is not actually a Amaerican/American Settler but a native of the land. Conner is going to fight for America until he is shown the truth about the Templar/Assassin war. Then he will kill people on both sides. He will kill Americans too.
What I don't get is why English people are so upset over this. Everyone gets to be a video game bad guy at some point. Germans were bad guy for everything early on. How do you think Russians feel now? EVERY shooter has them in it. Americans are the bad guys in Splinter Cell and Call of Duty(Both the bad and good guys)

LOL @ people who are offended by this, this game is based off an actual historical event, and as far as I can tell this game isn't about killing Brits, its about killing templars, who in the trailers thus far are portrayed by Redcoats, but when the game is released you'll see that there were Templar yanks.
And its a game get over it, people seriously need to stop getting so but hurt over evry little thing. |

Hmmm... the Americans & British have been allies for A LONG TIME... and in the last MANY wars fought... TOGETHER... I don't recall the British wearing "red coats" in battle!
I don't think too many Brits today are proud of how the Monarchy was taxing "their own colonies" (without representation) back in the day. NO ONE would like that to happen to them - then OR now!!
Besides... it's just a game (and about the past). My lineage comes from England, so I don't fancy the thought of killing my mates from England - and it's just a game! |

| Oh my god here we go again! Some british gamers feel all offended because this time around its an gamecaracter (Connor who,s btw half native half british) killing british soldiers..Oh My God!! To correct all here he kills militia too, and if you followed up the story so far in AC its about killing templars ;) I not see the same uprising or amount of negative comments when there is yet another shooter game that displays german,russians, chinese, koreans, or taliban as the bad guys, that the forum is being flooded with any of those early named countries and their fellow countrymen start a big fuzz about that they again have to hold as bad guys in a game. Besides if we learn history the line between good and bad is a very small one indeed and we should not forget this is just a game, besides how many times any of you killed a dog in MW2 and 3 in the campaign or spec-ops mode? Any complains there? Just learn the difference between a game and real life and we probly not seen so many needless comments about gamers feel offended because now its for a change some british that have to hold as baddies, what is in the way at least in this game historical correct. |

All I'm bothered about is the game, not what nationality I'm fighting for or against. I really don't mind, as it's a game. I wasn't jumping around screaming "racism!" when Resident Evil 5 had you killing another race, and I'm certainly not going to do it now.
