| Still think somewhere other than the US should have been used. The US is involved in like 80% of games. I liked Creed because it used parts of history other games did not |

| When was the last time you saw someone use the American Revolution as a setting in a game? |

@5 Actually, that was the European colonisation of the Americas. It was never actually set during the war, except in the WarChiefs expansion (putting it to 1776). This is probably the fifth game (if even that) to be set during this major historical event. I fear that this will mark a turning point for developers to make the American Revolution the new World War 2. |

| I personally wanted them to set it in Japan as I thought that it was getting too modern and had too many guns as I prefer swords (japan cos I thought an it would be Intrestering to see the arts passed on by the way of assassins mixed with the ancient abilities of a ninja and plus throwing stars) I will give this assassins creed ago but I have some degree of reserve at this point of time and hope future assassins creed games stay in the times where sword fighting has a place |

| Depending on how old Connor is as a character during this game, if they do plan on doing any expansions like Brotherhood, they could easily go into the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars, which would be an awesome expansion for an already amazing series! |

| @#9: He'd likely be in his 40s and 50s during that period in French history, so it's not out of question. |

@5 I've played through Age of Empires III. I can tell you that a single expansion takes place during that time and only for a single campaign. Then it moves onto a different stage in American history. @9 Would love to see the Napoleonic era when the French lose their Naval dominance to the British due to the hell that the revolution plays with the naval officers and cannoneers. And no one give me that Pax Britannica crap about it running from Collapse of the Spanish Armada and upwards. We all know the French had dominance for a great many years until the Napoleonic Era. |

| Getting kinda annoyed at the vagueness of the release date for the UK. Heard it is the 2nd of November from this site, then at the bottom of this article they say it is the 30th but other times it is changed to the 31st. Can we please know for sure? |

| Why have they made the combat even easier now? There's a warning triangle when an opponent is about to attack you, making it even easier to counter, I don't like this, hopefully it can be turned off. |

| I'm intensely interested in how the family lines add up; from a middle easterner, to an italian, to part native american revolutionary...i also truly hope the later additions to the franchise (cuz you know there'll be more) use nazi germany as little as possible...or play as a german, that could be fun too. |

@ 19 remember, according to AC2, Hitler was a Templar (and an Assassin actually tried to kill him). Wasn't there talk of potentially having a female Assassin in WW2 era England? That sounds promising, and very different from other WW2 fare... |
