Looks pretty good. Haven't played BF in awhile so this should bring me back in to it :)Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 06:01 AM
Those skins all look different, except for the sniper. Curious.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 06:26 AM
Looks like there is going to be some environment events in the maps such as Aftershock's in while the match is being played. Sounds cool. Can't wait!Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 06:27 AM
Crossbow. WTF.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 06:31 AM
#YearOfTheBowThursday, October 18, 2012 @ 06:56 AM
4th December only for PS3 remember xbox 1 week later -_-Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 07:14 AM
B2K was awesome, CQ turned the game into Call of Duty and any other fast paced shooter and AK had stupidly large maps for the player count. Hopefully this will restore my faith a little.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 07:17 AM
Can't freaking wait!Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 08:16 AM
Thin wooden skids make good cover evidently.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 08:36 AM
Im seriously expecting a Return of the Jedi senario of dipshits firing arrows at tanks like a bunch of retarded Ewoks firing at AT-STs.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 08:43 AM
@3 agreed 100%Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 09:30 AM
First CQ, now crossbows? Sheesh. Go back to the tried-and-true BF2 formula (the real BF2, not that Bad Company crap), which is huge, wide-open landscape, LOTS of vehicles and LOTS of capture points miles apart.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 09:32 AM
Awesome!!!Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 10:06 AM
@13 That's exactly what Armored Kill is about... - huge, wide-open landscape -> check - LOTS of vehicles -> check - LOTS of capture points miles apart -> checkThursday, October 18, 2012 @ 11:21 AM
Fix the piss poor hit detection and I might reconsider playing this game again.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 11:45 AM
I know many yearn for huge open maps with lots of vehicles but keep in mind that 360 servers can only support up to 24 players in a map. I enjoy Armored Kill but when you factor that each team has at least 3 players constantly in the air (two jets and one helicopter for ex) the logic is actually 9 vs 9 on these wide open maps which makes conquest feel like a game of "whack-a-mole". I can't wait for the opportunity to play Aftermath. Medium size maps will hopefully make this the best DLC yet. DICE your team is amazing. Keep up the great work!Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 01:06 PM
i can't watch these videos anymore for some weird reason and its only this site >.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 01:50 PM
@16: Not going to happen because of client side hit detection.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 02:45 PM
Hit detection is fine, there is just bullet drop and distance to allow forThursday, October 18, 2012 @ 03:07 PM
Why can't we have good DLC like BFBC2: Vietnam? These close quarter urban warfare DLCs are a complete waste. When I think Battlefield I think of epic maps, vehicles, and destructible environments and not these cod ripoff DLCs.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 03:08 PM
Using a crossbow in BF is like throwing a shoe across the room. And honestly, who throws a shoe across the room? The only way I see this being cool is if I'm shirt less and am wearing a red bandana.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 03:16 PM
this shit looks great! althoought i agree we need a Vietnam DLC or an old WWI or II remake.... (not wake island) but hopefully by this december i should have enough MSP to get it. ive been using the whole bing rewards program and shit. all i do is fuckin search all day. and within the past 2 months ive racked up 2500MSP!!! i know right! so im close to getting premium and for free no less! go here for more info and no im not a spammer or bot or whatever im just tryna get people to get the same fuckin deal i got.....i mean shit my buddy down the street just signed up what....yesterday and he was already awarded 100MSP. just for sign up and search.....but yea go here for me info... http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9778718&rrid=_36bd95ab-cc4f-62b6-c9cd-b9a8f9e58753Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 03:17 PM
"yesterday i took out an attack chopper....witha crossbow..."Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 04:05 PM
The enemy rushed me... so I put an arrow in his knee.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 04:19 PM
@2 To add some info there, i rechecked the trailer a few times and compared the skins with the normal BF3 skins, they are the same, only difference is they not wearing a helmet in this trailer. As been stated in the BF3 net, aftermath takes place short after where in the campaign a huge explosion almost got you killed by an collapsing building, here starts aftermath, completely shocked and with a city in ruins and dust renders visability, this it the stage where aftermath plays. As much as i enjoy BF3 from time to time and being a premium member sinds i bought the premium edition for BF3 i woudn,t mind another Battlefield Bad Company to be honest. And yes a WWII frostbite powered game with added MP set not in the pacific but in europe would be awesome, so Dice ;)Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 05:14 PM
how awesome would it be Scavenger mode was like a mini Dayz sorta thing, start with a knife have to find weapons and ammo, and they are hard to find, not a bright blinking icon.Thursday, October 18, 2012 @ 06:16 PM
Things I noticed from the trailer- - It looks like you can now pick people up off the ground instead of using defibs. - They now have a zulu/waypoint option, similar to Rainbow Six Vegas 2, complete with hand motions. - Earthquakes can happen mid battle - Explosions can now knock your character off of their feet (could get really old, really fast, ala Max Payne 3). - Slow motion death scenes. I wonder if this will affect other players and slow their game down too?Friday, October 19, 2012 @ 05:03 AM
I'm glad I didn't get Premium is all I can say.Friday, October 19, 2012 @ 08:09 AM
a crossbow!!!??? I hope theres no achievement for it, so I dont have to use this piece of sh*t.Sunday, October 21, 2012 @ 05:13 AM
@28 i think the trailer is just a trailer not a gameplay trailer, so what happened is as if it were in a cutscene or trailer OT: DLC looks awesome cant wait, just gotta wait a little while before i get premium, i know its gunna be worth it :DSunday, October 21, 2012 @ 05:16 AM
*@28 i think the earthquakes mid game would be kinda cool if not annoying at the same time, with the frostbite engine if buildings fell too with the aftershocks that would certainly make the gameplay very interesting :DMonday, October 22, 2012 @ 09:50 AM
@20 hit detection is far from fine! There is zero bullet drop to allow for at point blank range. Numerous times I've emptied whole clips into people from 5 feet away and yet they don't die, despite me getting constant hit markers. I'ts bullshitThursday, November 08, 2012 @ 02:59 PM
