Hmmmm... if it is fun I will buy it, using the MEGAMAN suit in DEAD RISING is the most recent experience with any thing MEGAMAN related.

bah, i haven't played a decent Mega Man game in ages. All the new crap like battle network, and network wars and war zx and EXE and Run:dos. I want a real mega man game, heres hoping 9 is great. Ironically, in japan its called Rockman 9: The Ambition's Revival!!. Save the series Capcom. |

@TheColdWolf, You probably wont play this game since I imagine the achievements wont be easy. This game is supposed to be hard, it's old school Mega Man. Just finishing this game could be too much for some people, and there has to be an achievement for finishing the game. There could even be a harder achievement, but this game and it's achievements shouldn't be a cake walk. |

This is the best news I've heard all day. Seriously, anyone and everyone should at least try out a classic Megaman game. Gamerscore or not, I can see this as a definite buy. (And I HOPE it's $2.00 cheaper than the Wii. I've got both systems and since I was gonna get the game anyway, I'll get the cheaper version.) |

i always wanted to play the Mega Man games but i never had a console to play the 8 bit ones on and emulators didnt work well

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 were NES, 7 was SNES, and 8 was PS1. I thought that Rockman and Forte (Megaman and Bass to us in America) was 9, but I guess not, which was on the SNES back in the day, then ported to the Gameboy Advance. The X series started on the SNES and went 1, 2, and 3. 4 went to the PS1 as did 5 and 6, and 7 started showing on the PS2.
This is as far as I can remember. Never thought they'd break out a 9 though. I'd like to see if they can break away from the old "3 lines per text box" syndrome they were in last I looked at MMX. |
