Assassin's Creed III Multiplayer Trailer Gets Murderous

Assassin's Creed III

Yet another trailer for Assassin's Creed III has surfaced, this time showing more of the game's multiplayer. Featuring plenty of gameplay and some insight into the various competitive and co-op modes on offer, the video is packed full of brutal execution moves and acrobatic action as assassins stalk the rooftops.

Taking in a variety of environments from "the streets of Boston harbour, to the harsh conditions of the Northwest passage" and a cotton plantation in Virginia, you'll be able to engage in Assassin's Creed III's numerous multiplayer modes like Deathmatch, the team-based Domination mode and Wolfpack co-op.

The video also offers a look at various weapons, gadgets, perks and characters, giving you a decent overview of what to expect from Assassin's Creed III's multiplayer when the game launches on October 30th in North America and October 31st in Europe. 	@ 1, Any gamer buying Black Ops 2 this year is a genuine dumbass. OT: I don't care for AC multiplayer, but this trailer advertised it pretty well and has me interested. The Bear looks pretty badass., however I'll probably play as a chick.

	This is one franchise that did NOT need multiplayer. Just the original assassination mode was fine because it still felt like Creed, but now with Domination, Perks, Co-op, etc., it's going from an artistic game to a generic multiplayer game.

	@3 Agreed, Revelations multiplayer was a massive disappointment. @5 I love the original wanted mode, or at least I think that's what it's called, but all these objective modes they're pushing don't make sense to me. (And no one ever plays them anyway)

	@5 Please stop complaining in sure they have seperate studios one putting everything in to the multpilayer and the usual studio working very hard on the singleplayer. You get more for your money with MP AND SP, both worked on to the best of their ability.

	They should have just left multiplayer out of this game; update Revelations' multiplayer regularly for the people who actually play it and keep it out of the numbered titles.

	@6. I agree on the Domination mode looking out of place, but Wolfpack looks really good. That said, Manhunt was always just as interesting as Wanted and had just as large a player base as Wanted did (equally the Deathmatch mode in Revelations was also fantastic). In general though I do agree, they're just adding too much to the MP that doesn't seem to fit as well as the original modes from Brotherhood.

	They should have gone the route of the new Hitman, and allowed for custom assassination targets that can pop up in the single player mode; anyone could be a target.

	Forget the multiplayer! Creed was and always will be single player based for me. Having said that I haven't even played brotherhood or revelations yet, yet alone thinking about buying ac3 yet. I'll play the previous2 first, but 3 AC games in 3 years is to much

	Playing MP in AC never realy cought my attention to be honest, i realy enjoyed the single player part. But i did played a few MP matches on revelations and wasn,t to impressed. I mainly buy ACIII for the single player, but def will give the MP a go, def the co-op seems fun and working as a team is always a good thing. Mabye i start to enjoy the MP for a change this time :)
