YES! Im Getting This!!Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 10:06 AM
lets see how they made the 3D in this gameTuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 10:16 AM
I played this games while at pax this year, and I am getting this for sure on thursday when i get paid. However the 3d thing I found while playing it makes it harder to aim, But they did have you standing about 2 feet away from the screen so Im guessing its better in a normal sitting distance.Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 10:20 AM
Hell yes! I've been holding off on playing DISHONORED until I got my proper time with this beauty.Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 10:20 AM
"It's the (almost) definitive Doom collection (it's missing Final Doom)..." Final Doom wasn't developed by id at all. All the games in this collection were (Doom II: No Rest for the Living was co-developed by them and Nerve Software). Why would Final Doom (or Doom 64 for that matter) be in this collection if ID DEVELOPED Doom games?Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 10:23 AM
Yeaa, I think I'm ready to relive those nightmaresTuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 10:23 AM
I already have Doom 3 for PC, and Doom 3 SE and Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil for Xbox, yet I'm still probably going to get this.Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 10:30 AM
Haha yes resident evil 6 to trade for thisTuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 10:37 AM
@8 Is that a deal somewhere or is it enough to trade-in?Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 10:50 AM
@9 Resi 6 has literally only been out 2 weeks max so it basically should cover the whole cost of DOOM 3. Can't see @8 paying anymore than £8 in difference max.Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 11:01 AM
Not sure how it is in your area, but here best buy is doing 50% bonus trade in. Says ill get 24 for RE6 on app. So 36 all together. So ya paying like 7-8 bucks roughlyTuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 11:06 AM
Cannot wait for this tomorrow!! Loved Doom. Need more of nightmare. :DTuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 11:43 AM
about to go pick this up right nowTuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 11:45 AM
Just in case anyone cares, if you pre-order it from GAME you also get Rage: Anarchy Edition for free. Not much, but figured it was worth mentioning in case people were interested.Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 12:13 PM
can't wait shame about lack of final doom, even worse when it has an esrb rating ready for xbox release, wish it had doom 64 as well, probebly best doom in my opinionTuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 12:46 PM
@14 That is pretty funny that they are giving away Rage like that. Might raise the profile of a very good (but slightly flawed) game that was largely overlooked by the masses.Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 01:31 PM
Six hundred GS?... Why are companies being so stingy with achievements? DLC has also been slackin with achievements, too!Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 02:40 PM
Just realized this is in 3D. SWEET!Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 04:12 PM
So it's like Doom3 for noobies or is there an option to still switch between light and gun? That's one mechanic that made dooom what it is, can't believe they would take away pleasure of playing that way... Still nt getting it, have it for PC and couldn't care less about HD graphics, but just saying=)Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 04:56 PM
@17 Doom 1 & 2 might make up for the additional 400GS.Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 05:33 PM
Anyone else having a problem with the kill 20 enemies with melee achievement?Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 05:58 PM
Already pre-ordered, can't wait for doom 3 bfg but got to wait for the friday release date. Hopefully after this comes out Doom 4 trailer is teased hopefully or at least sometime after the game.Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 08:23 PM
Shipping with only 600G on the disc was just stupid. They could have done 1000G for this since the other 2 games would be considered DLC items and show up as different played games. It's like I had 400G for this game years before it's release - just dumb.Wednesday, October 17, 2012 @ 12:20 AM
#23 no I disagreed it not dumb. This is understandable reason why 600G is because 400G for classic Doom games. That ok you can check achievements list and you load each classic Doom games and put it under Doom 3 achievement list section to make 1000G from look and mind. :):) For example: Doom 3: BFG Edition or Doom 3 (whichever those will be name on gamerscore list) - 600G Doom 2 - 200G Doom - 200G In your gamerscore section. :D That no problem with me if they separate. It's not dumb. Cannot wait for this game so much and game is now posted by shopto.net (late afternoon yesterday) so I should have by Thursday morning. :)Wednesday, October 17, 2012 @ 12:23 AM
Or if you don't like separate then get PS3 version to get whole in Trophy system. Simply as this.Wednesday, October 17, 2012 @ 02:23 AM
switching between the flashlight n gun was one of the best bits!! would be nice if there was an option to play it like that,, also checkpoints... hope you can save manually,, got it pre ordered, cant fucking wait, doom 3 is a top game!!Wednesday, October 17, 2012 @ 02:28 AM
@24 already have the 400 for the doom n doom2 from the xbla versions,, i shouldnt have to do it again on the disk release should i?? not bothered if i do tho realy lolWednesday, October 17, 2012 @ 04:10 AM

Prepare to return to Hell this week, as Doom 3: BFG Edition hits store shelves, complete with the game presented in 3D, The Lost Mission, Resurrection of Evil, and the classics that started it all, Doom and Doom II crammed into one package. There's a new launch trailer to check out, showing it all off.
It's the (almost) definitive Doom collection (it's missing Final Doom), and you can grab it for the RRP of £29.99/€39.99/$39.99. Doom 3 and the accompanying content has been fully remastered, with 5.1 surround sound, proper HD visuals with improved rendering and lighting, as well as a new checkpoint save system.
Your torch is also armour-mounted, which means you'll be able to blast demon spawn and light up those dark corners at the same time. Doom 3: BFG Edition is out today in North America and on October 19th in Europe. Check out the hellish launch trailer here.
