Nothing can stop FIFA 13. EA Sports' latest remains top of the charts this week despite strong competition from Dishonored. So strong, in fact, that Bethesda's sneaky, ratty, actiony adventure in Dunwall has become the biggest new IP launch of the year. Good work chaps. The most noteworthy stories this week, however, come from disappointments rather than triumphs. XCOM: Enemy Unknown, despite being a critical smash, has only managed to enter in 5th place. That's perhaps not surprising considering turn-based strategy is hardly a retail hot cake (though it's sold loads on Steam), but still. Judged on quality, it should be bothering the top end of the chart. The saddest story, meanwhile, comes from Fable: The Journey. Again, Kinect titles are not expected to sell tons, but 13th place is a pretty poor show. As far as we're concerned there'll never be a better Kinect game. Ever. But it's still a bit rubbish.
