Nordic Games has today revealed the proper release date for Farm 51's remake of the ultra-violent 2004 People Can Fly FPS, Painkiller on consoles, namely Painkiller: Hell & Damnation. It's not the PC-only date of October 31st as initially thought. The game will in fact be arriving early next year on consoles.
Furthermore, the limited edition will not be made available for the console versions either, and will be coming for PC versions of the game only. Still, you will be able to get your hands on the standard Xbox 360 version of Painkiller: Hell & Damnation in January 2013.
The game is so bloody and violent that it hasn't undergone classification in Germany, meaning it won't be available there. Painkiller: Hell & Damnation will however be available everywhere else (pretty much) on January 22nd, 2013 priced at £24.99. Check out the 19 new screenshots in the gallery, and a small selection of the best ones below.
