I'm really excited that it's coming out today but bummed at the same time.
Was in a game with a friend when I got update so got kicked and now can't join him because he didn't get the title update. Really hate when they do crap like that. Oh well I guess later today we'll both have the update and mechromencer ^_^ |

I didn't get this game yet, so I will have to shell out the money to get this class eventually, but $10 for a character? That seems a little spendy for a class that doesn't really add to the game.
Yes, I know I didn't pre-order so its my fault, I just thought I'd throw out my two cents.
I'll get it regardless eventually. |

| #15 the code don't hand out in the game case, it usually have a code for specific preorder on the receipt from the store, ie: GameStop. Now for your case that you ordered from Microsoft store, not sure if you ordered it from the store or online, try the receipt if you bought from that store or check your email that associated to your gamertag. |

| @17, in the UK, well at least Amazon UK they had the premiere club code in the case, well at least for the Vault Hunter Edition. That is why I was asking if there was an expiration date for the code, as if I'm not getting it till Christmas I would have to open it up so I could redeem the code so it did not expire. |

Sorry for double post but be warned to everyone who didn't preorder Mechromancer character, if interested to buy this character. Buy it a seperate dlc, not from the season pass that you might thinking it would included in a season pass which it isn't. Here from gearbox software borderlands 2 forum,
"Mechromancer isn't included in Season Pass because a) the Mechromancer is a new character class, not a full-fledged add-on campaign like the rest of the Season Pass content and B) Mechromancer comes free with a pre-order from a Premiere Club retailer so we didn't want fans to pay for something they may already have. For those that don't get her free with a pre-order, the Mechromancer will be available for individual purchase the same time she's made available to Premiere Club members." |

#18 I'm 90% positive it don't have an expiration date on the code but in that case, if that does, contact amazon uk about it. I wouldn't worry about it but the thing is the dlc character don't come with the game, only if you preorder it and buy it on the release day.

| @17, thanks. I contacted microshaft store and the confirmed that you DO NOT get a code for the free pack since I got 1600MS points and $10 off next purchase. I guess I would be 800 ms points up if I were to purchase it, But after reading that ppl are loosing ranks and data after the update. Ill just wait for it to go on sale. I can wait. I havent beaten the game yet and have RE6 to play and more games on the way, so im in no hurry, and maybe theyll have the bug fixed by then. |

#25 you are welcome, at least you get 1600 ms points for free, you could use 800 on her. I think it's well worth it since I played her for a bit. Her action skill is awesome and helpful to beat bosses.
FYI, I got an update and checked my badass rank and token, didn't lose it fortunately. |

The cost in most DLC (ideally) as proximate to the amount of time and coding it took to integrate the content into the game. For example, something such as a weapon skin is so cheap because they only have to tweak the colors, check the lighting, and make sure it doesn't interfere with the underlying frame and cause it stick out your nose. A character or an additional region with items that you can take back into the existing content is far more demanding. It's like jamming a smaller oreo into a bigger one and expecting the two halves to stick together. Plus, all content of that nature creates a ripple effect touching and altering everything else in the game. The cost offsets the amount of work done to ensure that your oreo doesn't explode in bugs like an old New York tenement building.
For those who detest reading: it is an optional piece of content and the price is related to the amount of work done so it really isn't unfair. |

For those interested, I had no issues with the download or losing BA Rank. Here is the steps that I did though:
- Started playing Borderlands 2
- Installed patch
- Restarted Borderlands 2
- Clicked on Downloadable Content
- Click on Mechromancer DLC and downloaded
- After download was completed clicked Continue and received a message prompt stating new content has been identified would you like to install it now? I selected Yes and was returned back to the title screen after a brief reload
- I still showed my original characters, loaded them up, and BA Rank was not affected.
For anyone else they might want to follow these steps as I had no issues. Others might have tried to download it from the Marketplace or other methods but I went straight from the in game Downloadable content menu. |

yup lost about 19000 BA rank and approximately 8.5% boost to all available stats except shield recharge rate. The new character is fun but damn I grinded most of those on purpose. Its nice to see work done with one character carry over.
I do like the voice of gaige and her phrases she will be fun....
it was worth waiting a few weeds for. |

Sheesh, I'd rather have waited a week so that they could have patched the Badass/Skin bug instead of rushing it out like this. Even lost my special edition skin/head, luckily not my golden key though.
Thanks for pre-ordering! As an added bonus we are going to take away all of your Badass Ranks and Character Skins! Enjoy!
