Tropico 4: Gold Edition Coming this November

Kalypso Media has announced that it's bringing the Tropico 4: Gold Edition to Xbox 360 next month, bundling the game with the 'Modern Times' expansion pack. The city-builder and economic simulator has you playing as El Presidente, who's enjoying a fourth term lording it over a small Caribbean island.

For the uninitiated, you can be a kind and benevolent leader or a power-hungry dictatorial despot in Tropico 4. There's over 30 missions to play through, including the 'Modern Times' campaign. There's also more than 100 buildings to play with and a sandbox mode for custom games.

There's also a map and scenario editor to mess about with, making Tropico 4: Gold Edition a generous city-building package. You'll be able to snap it up on November 13th, 2012. Here's some new screens.

	great game, surely its cheaper to buy the original game at a now reduced price and buy the dlc as well?

	I still haven't finished the regular game in Tropico 4. Great game, just repetitive in its execution. I'm waiting for a DOTW to grab the expansion. If you're a fan of the Sim City games, Tropico is up your alley!

	Is the save file bug still present when you hit a certain population? Made Tropico 3 unplayable for me. As much as I enjoyed the game, I couldn't play it in 3+ hour sittings.

	Loved the original Tropico on PC but never tried any of these games on Xbox (mainly because of the issue with the corrupted save files). If they got rid of it, I might just give it a try when the gold edition comes out.

	This is a very underrated game. One of those where the sales just don't match the quality (and addiction) that it delivers. I would check the retail price before purchasing though. I'm aware Zavvi are selling this at £14.95 the now so that plus the DLC will be cheaper than many retail prices of this game.

	I really want to go back to Tropico 3, as I never gave that much of a chance due to other games. 5g aint much to shout about.

	I loved Tropoico 3 so much it just took me ages to actually find in stock.. So far it's been the same for the 4th though I haven't been looking as hard, this announcement makes me want to go look for it again.
