Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Zone of the Enders HD Collection Limited Editions Detailed

Konami has announced details and dates for the Limited Editions of both Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Zone of the Enders HD Collection.

The Limited Edition Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance includes a copy of the game, the official soundtrack, a limited 2-sided Steelbook and - amazingly - an “exclusive high-frequency katana blade plasma lamp.” You can see an image of the lamp below.

Meanwhile, the Limited Edition Zone of the Enders HD Collection includes remastered versions of both Zone of the Enders and the European special edition of Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner. It’s all packaged in a gold, metallic bundle with a Metal Gear: Revengeance demo, a remix soundtrack and a 100 page art book featuring new work from Yoji Shinkawa.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is out in the US on February 19th, 2013 and Europe on February 22nd, 2013. Zone of the Enders HD Collection is out on October 30th in North America.

I'd contemplate getting the Revengeance Collectors Edition... and I don't even want that game! :D

I have a feeling it's going to be expensive but a steelbook AND a plasma lamp...I may just have to start saving. I wish they announced the price already lol. As for ZoE Limited Edition, it's $60, so only $20 more for the extras which isn't too bad.

Yeah the lamp isn't much of an incentive for me. It's just, like, a lamp. Not to mention it'll probably be overpriced as hell. I'll still be getting the game though, of course.

As for Zone of the Enders, I'm considering getting the special edition. Definitely getting the game; I've, regrettably, never played the games and am always up for something Kojima-related.

Well, there's a whole bunch of people here who I would never allow to decorate my home. Basically everyone who said that lamp looked cool. That is the dumbest looking lamp I have ever seen.
