Remember when fans datamined Mass Effect 3 to discern details about the game’s Leviathan DLC? Well apparently they’ve done a similar thing for the upcoming Omega add-on.

Below you’ll discover script details for the upcoming story-driven downloadable content. so OBVIOUSLY THERE’S SPOILERS.

The mission takes place aboard Omega Station. Overlord Aria T'Loak has been ousted by Cerberus and needs Sheppard’s help to retake the location. During the mission you’ll take on Mass Effect 2’s Zaeed Massani.

Here’s the full plot summary:

"Aria tells you that Omega is now under a blockade from Cerberus. Since a direct attack didn't work, Cerberus is now trying to starve Omega into submission by blockading supply ships coming in through the regular Omega relay. The level's appearance will change to reflect this - the Afterlife has gone quiet, the music is off, the flashing lights are gone, maybe a soup kitchen has taken over the dance floor. Aria requests that you steal into the blockade and board the command ship. Take down the blockade so Omega can be resupplied.

"As punishment for breaking the neutrality pact, Cerberus launches an attack against Omega. The enemy is attempting to destroy Omega's shields, which will allow asteroids and meteors to smash into the station. You must repel the assault and ensure the shield remain operational."

A release date for Omega has not yet been revealed.

I enjoyed with last DLC and it's ok story, I hope this one will have slight more long playthrough and maybe have 10 achievements or more (wish). Will get it when released. :)

Sounds like more boring DLC. I guess I'm just sour on this game now.

I'll buy it.

I'm replaying the game for about the 7th or 8th time this year anyway, so hopefully this is soon enough to make it into this run (doubtful) or will get slotted into my next run of the whole series.

Leviathan was slightly disappointing imo though. Best DLC so far was shadowbroker for ME2. Nothing else has coem close to the excellence of that game add on.

Hopefully we will be able to re-enter it and it will let us explore a big new city like the Citadel. Maybe new upgrades and things to buy too?

I'd like it to be a new hub world too.

As far as the details.. They don't sound far fetched, pretty much what I was expecting to be honest.

Extra story is always welcome and despite the obviousness mid game that Omega would end up being DLC, I'll purchase it.

"During the mission you’ll take on Mass Effect 2’s Zaeed Massani."

Fake. Zaeed is a War Asset, he joins Shepard's army since Cerberus screwed with him and he's been sabotaging Cerberus operations and killing their men in the events between ME2 and ME3.

I really want Aria in my party for this mission. Bring back Jack and Miranda as they would be a funny second character to interact with Aria imo.

"Taking on Zaeed" would be interesting considering I left him behind to be burned alive during his Loyalty Mission in ME2 lol

I'll wait till the price drops on all of these. Don't have time anymore to come back for every single DLC when it comes out with all these friggin games!

Hmm... On the one hand, things like this have practically never been wrong. They knew a Liara DLC about hunting down the Shadow Broker was coming for ME2 practically from launch, for example.

On the other hand, this doesn't really gel with what we know from ME3 and the comics. "Omega is now under a blockade from Cerberus. Since a direct attack didn't work, Cerberus is now trying to starve Omega into submission by blockading supply ships coming in through the regular Omega relay." - Unless I'm forgetting the ending to the comics, and I might be, I thought Cerberus had control of the station?

Like others have said, what if either A) you got Zaeed killed, B) you never DOWNLOADED Zaeed to begin with, or C) you've already (SPOILER) helped Din Korlack and recruited Zaeed as a War Asset?

But hey, if this is true, it means mah girl Kasumi has a shot at a bigger focus later. :P

BioWare's Mike Gamble debunked this "leak" on Twitter, it's all fan fiction.

The real spoiler is that none of this will change how the game ends.

To be honest I do like Mass Effect and I will probably end up geting this, but... Borderlands 2... sigh. Besides today when a buddy forced me to change discs, Borderlands 2 has not left my Xbox. Now if Bioware adds some new enemy types to multiplayer or some other amazing must have add on, I may change that. But so far... Borderlands.

@19 Go finish your cook Walter no one wants to hear it. IMO the Extended Cut DLC made the end of ME3 amazing. Also fingers crossed Zaeed does return for a bit, that way I can go back to being Big Goddamn Heroes.

All of those $10 but only 1 hour DLCs of Mass Effect are pissing me off. The first one, which came with the preorder, was also $10 and is only 5 minutes long (MAX 10). Now there is another DLC to come, I bet it won't be much longer too.

Why the hell won't they work a bit longer on the DLCs, make them longer containing a few more missions (like 5 hours) and put them for $10 on the marketplace. After all we payed $50-60 for the whole experience, which was around 50 hours. And now every 5 minute - 2 hours DLC is $10? Give me a break.
