Assassin's Creed III's Fourth Dev Diary Visits America, By Land and Sea

With just over a month to go until Assassin's Creed III's launch, Ubisoft has released the fourth 'Inside Assassin's Creed III' episode today, looking closer at the accuracy of the historical aspects of the game, from the colonial cities of Boston and New York - complete with roaming pigs - to the Frontier and the high seas.

There's a dynamic weather system along the day/night cycle in AC III too, so you can sea the seasons change around you. In the Frontier meanwhile, you'll have to cope with humidity, cold, snow and an ecosystem of animals, as well as the organic environment comprised of trees and rocks.

Finally, there's more about the Naval Warfare, which involves the French, the Spanish and Dutch as well as the British and American forces. It's all suitably epic stuff, and the trailer offers up additional historical insight into the game as well as another look at Assassin's Creed III in a bit more detail.

Watch the video below, then look out for Assassin's Creed III on October 30th, 2012.

Can't wait, Have yet to preorder it, really tempted for $120 edition, but it's like paying for one game at a price of 2... Decisions, at least Borderlands will be keeping me busy for another month=)

I love how they say if "you havent played any assassins creed before ACIII will be a great way to get in". I wonder how they expect to get newcomers to understand what has occurred storywise. Starting at the end of any trilogy like ACIII, Halo 3, or Mass effect 3 is like skipping the first 4 seasons of Lost and starting at the 5th season, people who dont start at the beginnig are going to have a harder time understanding what the hell is going on and it can be a turn off. But hey props to Ubisoft if they are able to have newcomers not miss that vital connection story-wise.
