| Dead Island did suck but was a lot of fun with modded weapons since it balanced the poor single-player which was clearly abandoned in favor of forced co-op. |

| My prob with this trailer is, like the original Dead Island, is that its not representative of the game. Dont get me wrong I liked DI but the trailer made it out to be some sort of drama filled, tension ramping rpg, but it was just your standard action rpg. Not sure about Riptide, dont think I'll bother |

#20 as #13 said #1 was quoting George Bush now let's all move on. Am I only the person who didn't have a glitch DI experience? I got it day 1 and I had no bugs, no problems. 1 time I couldn't walk up some resort steps until I jumped and that was about it. I loved DI, it was a great multiplayer experience and my preorder for Riptide is already down, Gamestop gave me an empty metal DI: Riptide metal case as a preorder bonus. Weird, but I'll take it. |

If some people didn't like it, no big deal. I quite enjoyed the first game and look forward to having a lot of fun with this one. If you're not sure about picking it up just yet, wait for some reviews to come out and ask around the community for feedback once it arrives. |

| Now if only they could include that kind of emotion and feeling into the actual cut-scenes of the game, we'd be golden. I was appalled when I reached the cut-scene in the garage, it felt like it was done by a emotionless 7 year old. Don't get me wrong, I liked the game despite having my save get corrupted and the few bugs here and there, but those cut-scenes were straight shit haha. |

| Dead island was simply alot of FUN sure it was mindless zombie killing but it was a damn lot of fun. Very similar to borderlands in how the game play was done imo, and yes I know borderlands is amazing and this doesn't compare but it's in the same vein. |

| HA...Dead Island was one of the best games ever. Very few can have me playing more than a year, but this game was awesome. The weapon creating and modding was fantastic, controls were near perfect. The game areas were huge, so much better than the majority of zombie games around, but a zombie RPG...no other game like it. I cant wait for this, time for another Deathstalker Zeds Demise |

Dead island was different that's why people had their pussies hurt and bitch about the game,if you want shoot me up zombies than play left for dead (which bored the shit out of me),COD zombie maps Also I never experienced any bugs with dead island ran good, exciting story, beautiful visuals, killer dismembermenta Also I agree the Aussie accents sounded so fake my wife who is a Aussie laffed at that when she heard me playing it lol |

| I may actually pick this up. I liked the original Dead Island, even with it's flaws, and who doesn't love to murder zombies in every imaginary way possible? It may not be a first-day buy, but I'll certainly pick it up for the story/laughs&giggles when the price's dropped. |

| I loved Dead island, played it for hundreds of hours, and all these issues and glitches people seem to complain about didn't even happen once to me, might have something to do with that i bought the game several months after it's release but yeah don't see the necessity for all the hate on this game. COOP FUN! |

@1 Brilliant, my favourite Bush quote, that made me laugh reading it. I think they need to improve a lot on the first game and we could be on to a winner if they do, but I'm going to remain sceptical though until I actually get to play a demo rather than just see something like this. |

Yawn! The first game was terrible. It was a borderlands wanna be and ripped off borderlands in an attempt to fill another zombie niche and idiots loved simply because it had zombies in it. Its buggy, glitchy, ugly, the combat was terrible, the weapon modding was not original or interesting at all. The characters were annoying and their "classes" werent interesting. The quests were repetitive and the areas boring and samey. It was a half made game and a lazy one at that |

| Dead island was one of the best games I have ever played and/or invested in. I got over 20 top of the line games last year and dead island was defianly in my top 5 favorite. People that didnt like it probaly didnt give it a chance. I got every achievement within the first week, but I still play it at least 20 hours every month. I hop on and hand out hacked weapons and help people out with missions. Or even just run around the beach throwing molotovs at sleeping zombie lol. This game was one of the best coop rpg games and I will gladly spend my money on riptide. I truly hope this series stays alive for a long time. Thank you Deep Silver :) |

| Well at least now we know what we'll be getting or not. I will pass on more of the same... I'd rather see games liek Deadlight made into full retail. I am tired of owning every zombie with thousands of weapons lying around all teh time. I want to feel fear and run for my life when I feel like I can't handle more than 2 zombies. That's what it should be about, survival against impossible odds. Maybe someone will make it for next gen consoles. |

@#20 - #1 is actually quoting George W. Bush's famous mangling of that cliche. OT: There are a lot of improvements that could be made to this sequel to make it better then the first, so let's hope they were paying attention to all of the complaints. |

| I think the trailers are just meant to show another side of the zombie apocalypse. While you're out there happily slaying zombies and getting frustrated at dying, some poor couple had two choices - get infected and turn into a zombie, or suicide, spending their last moment with the one they love. |

Not as good as the trailer for the first game, that was by far one of my all time favorite trailers, by no means a bad trailer, but just not as enjoyable as the first, if that's the right word. I did enjoy the first game, generaly, it wasn't anything exceptional, but it was enjoyable. Bugs don't bother me personly, providing they don't mess up the game generaly or the like. I hope this one will be more polished, but I don't expect to much from it. I'm still struggling to understand why there's a 'game of the year' edition for this, it won no awards if I recall, there are 2 piece's of dlc, one meh, the other bad and takes away the entire point of the game, it doesn't seem worth a 'game of the year' title. This doesn't compete with other RPG's like some said earlyier though, it's not in the same league at all, but it was enjoyable. Here's hoping for a more polished game. |
