well i'll give it a try, i'm not buying a resevil till they realise what continuity is

@13 because it's nothing like BL2... now if it was an FPS releasing near CoD & halo is suicide....
i probably wont be touching any of these "big" titles this year, RE isn't what it used to be, never tried BL (but have a large hatred of gearbox so i'm not buying this) halo bores me, oh, and i hate CoD |

| Lets face it the times that a resident evil game was fun and scary to play and also included small puzzle elemts is far gone, the new resident evil games are basicly your typical shooter games, with a light flavor of horror. The fact that here (RE6) you can play different caracters and in co-op is ofcourse a nice touch, but its not much different then RE5 was realy. But still fun i geus for those hardcore RE fans :) |

I played through the whole demo & it was over an hour of gameplay.
It is an improvement over the 1st demo, especially Leon's part because it is more action & less walking & talking. |

| @29 I keep seeing you post in the re6 threads saying the same thing so I will too. The guy who created the series isn't with capcom anymore and hasn't been since re4. If you're hoping for the classic re experience it's not going to happen. If you know you aren't going to like future games save us and yourself some time and support Zwei instead of saying lol RIP old re because quite frankly it's getting annoying for people like me who know the series has changed and are making the best of it. |

@32 sorry if I'm not a mindless fanboy, your not the only one who gets annoyed by people like yourself who will happily ignore the changes to milk out another game that has nothing to do with the series anymore. Yes I have heard about Zwei, I'm skeptical since he was the reason why we had re4 which ruined the series.
As long as 'capcom' keeping ignoring the classic fans people like myself will always fight, protest in the forums, news pages and there isn't much you can do about it, you can't tell people how people are supposed to think about the series so either accept people have different or stfu! |

I would love to see a full blown remake of RE0-CV with the RE6 engine. Just keep it over the shoulder, but slow movements and low ammo. Have you played the 3DS Revelations? That game felt like the originals while keeping the over the shoulder view. |

| I liked Leon's portion of the demo. I thought it was cool how the red dot would sway after you opened fire and how it requires two head shots to kill the zombie. Overall not a game I want to play right away, I'm cancelling my preorder and putting it towards Hitman: Absolution. |

I don't understand why people can't accept change. If you love those tank controls so much you have RE 1-3 and Veronica to play through to your heart's content. While I admit the series has slowly gone from Survival Horror to more of an action series, the series is and forever will be held in high regard in my mind's eye.
While not having enough ammo in the classic REs did leave a feeling of dread and suspense, it was also somewhat flawed. I much prefer having ammo that is atleast somewhat plentiful.

Im a huge Resident Evil fan, have been since day one on PS1, i have played every Resi game to date except for the survivor and outbreak games, this game however is utter rubbish.
I don't care that its action instead of horror, however the terrible graphics, utter crap camera and equally bad controls are unforgivable.
I will play it eventually though just for the story but this game just seems a huge rushed mess to me as it stands, definitely not worth full price and easily comparable in quality (and controls/camera) to the ill-fated Alone in the Dark 2008 game.

| Just finished playing the demo co-op with a buddy. Loved the Leon section but wasn't particularly bowled over by the Chris/Jake sections (little too frantic for my tastes). Good fun overall though and another enjoyable entry to the RE series. Roll on October :) |

They won't change the name because it's the name which still make the series sells.
If you remove the Resident Evil franchise of Resident Evil 6 (modifying the names and characters, even by keeping the same story, no one will buy it though it would be the exact same game :D).
I didn't even bothered to download the demo personally, I played Resident Evil 5 and though it wasn't an awful game, it was an awful Resident Evil, and so I'm sure Resident Evil 6 is not for me (nor the other Resident Evil games recently released or the ones which will be released in a near future). |

| I love RE 1-3, I love 4 and I love 5. And guess what? I loved the RE6 demo. You say the horror is gone? Well, mind telling me WHAT horror? Maybe it's just me but I honestly don't see any horror in Resident Evil games, ever. Simply having zombies etc. isn't enough for me to call it horror. Sure the survival aspect really is gone but then again, you still can't play RE like it was CoD or some other generic shooter and just spray and pray and the previous games offered easy modes to make life simplier. I don't miss the camera angles and I don't miss the old controls. I love RE for the story and characters and that's what keeps me going. Plus, The Mercenaries. All in all, still getting this pre-ordered. |

| Games change with the times. The clunky controls of the originals would fail in today's market. I will say, though, that certain improvements are done well. An example would be the Lost in Nightmares expansion for RE5. I tried the demo and thought Leon's was the most entertaining. |

I loved every Resi game up to now, but I'm seriously considering cancelling my pre order if the series has changed (again) into a non stop action game.
