| She is free to everyone who buys the game through pre order. And why not get Borderlands 2 as a pre order? You get tons of stuff and you don't have to pay for Gaige. To those complaining because they have to pay for her, just go throw down the money now. You will save $10 bucks if you want Gaige, and you show your support to Borderlands. Problem solved. The reason she costs $10 is because she is a character not programmed into the game. New skills, new ways to play. It's almost like a new story. Now quit your complaining and go to a nearby game store, (or online) and pre order Borderlands 2. You only have seven days left before your the last one not getting it on your friends list! |

If I haven't started Borderlands 2 by the time she's out (started Borderlands a week ago and I'm level 24, if that gives an indication as to the speed of my progress), then I'll probably play her. She looks interesting. Then again, so does Zero and the new Siren.
Honestly, it doesn't really matter. Don't really care. And to the guy who said it's like a new story: What are you talking about? The character you play basically makes no difference whatsoever in the game's story. |

| @21. Can you not read? She is free to everyone that has it on pre-order and most stores will let you place pre-orders up till the day before release, unless they run out before hand. And honestly if you were so lazy that you couldn't pre-order the game in the full year that it's been available to pre-order, then tough shit, you missed out. |

i recently bought the goty edition of the first game to play through again since i played it on another tag. I figured i'd get all the achievements on the first one then play the second and i wanted to be convinced that the second game was worth the purchase since all these games come out so close to each other. Let me say that since i have been back in pandora i have not been able to stop playing this game. I currently have 1070 gamerscore in only 2 days. Please hurry release date i dont think i can wait any longer :(
