I wouldn't call myself a hardcore deadpool fan, nor am I one of those "day one purchase" kind of people, but I will definitely be keeping my eye on this one.
The transformers videogames were really good, so I think there's a lot of possibility here
Plus it's not a movie tie-in, and that's all I could really ever ask for. |

I think honestly the make-or-break is really going to come down to that sort of idle chat stage business. Yeah, having him break the fourth wall is great, but they have to make this character feel alive at all times. If you hear the same one-liner twenty times while you play through, that's not Deadpool. What they said about him reacting to the situations, characters, and even the player is going to be wildly important to this game. With things like "Eat Lead," we've treaded some of these waters before, but never gotten it 100% right.
Deadpool needs that polish or the IP is doomed.
So far though, with what they've said and what I've seen... I'm hopeful and super-stoked! My boy's gettin' his own video game, baby! (Now if only Ryan can get that movie movin forward...) |

dont know much about him, i used to use him in my team in MUA basically cause of his outfit and weapons along with his sarcasm.
hopefully this game represents him well with good gameplay, something between Batman Arkham, Amazing Spider-man or X-Men Origins Wolverine |

Im a huge Deadpool fan and am really hoping to see some classic characters from his first comicbook series like Blind Al and Jerry the homeless guy whom DP would sit in the park with and have deep conversations with!
Im also hoping to see some of the darker side of Deadpool. He wasn't always sarcasm and funny, he'd get rather deep in emotion and seriousness from time to time, though if all the screenshots and interviews released have anything to say about that happening itd point to the very unlikely side of being in the game.
Also I hope they give DP better villians to face off against then he had in most of his comic series. Rhino and homocidal high school twins are easily E-List villians. Itd be great to see him up against bette enemies, also at least one Wolverine boss fight is a must. I wonder if having the Deadpool Corps in the game is asking too much? HEADPOOL! XD |

| @13 it is referring to the wall between the "viewer" and the "actors". Basically it means that the actors in a tv show, movie, game are aware that they are in a story and often make light of the situation. |

I really liked deadpool in marvel ultimate alliance, so I feel I would like him in this game. I think its cool how they are making a superhero game that is random and not tied to any movies. This looks promising.

| @11 Why would Activision close down High Moon Studios if Deadpool doesn't do good. Are you not familiar with Transformers: War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron? No doubt another in this series will come out. High Moon Studios is fine. |

| @19 Don,t worry i think most of our american users or those familiar with the comic heroes of marvel ect, forget we in europe not know to many of those super heroes or how many there are ;) We mostly know Superman,Hulk,Batman,Spiderman ect, but to be honest Deadpool wasn,t in my list of caracters i know from marvel, but now i do :) And as far i did some research now on the caracter it def has a great potential to be an great game and with Transformer game fame studio High Moon behind it it must be good. |

@22 I´m from Europe and perfectly know the character, even more than boring Superman. Almost every Deadpool comic has been already been publish at least here, in Spain. Some people don´t know the character, but this days, an american comic reader and a european can have exactly the same idea about the character. And he´s not an obscure character by any means.
@19 The character is immature, some stories are too, some others don´t. I really don´t think we already have seen enough of the game to start point out flaws that none of us knows if they even exist. |

| @7 It looks like you can die a happy rich man/woman! The reason "The Merc with a Mouth" is listed in pretty much every article is because thats his secondary name just like Wolverine is also known as Weapon X, and he is of only a few characters that have been made/created/scripted to "break the forth wall" whether that be in any video game he's been in and is also rumored to do in his own movie due next year. |

I would love to get this game, but I probably won't. Why? BECAUSE OF NOLAN FUCKING NORTH. The guy uses the exact same voice for every character. Deadpool sounds like Nathan Drake (Uncharted), who sounds like Desmond Miles (Assassin's Creed), who sounds like the main character from Dark Void, ad infinitum.
