In its bid to be the most authentic military shooter around (on consoles anyway), this latest Medal of Honor: Warfighter trailer is the first in a series of 'Combat Training' videos that look at a specific area of the SEAL Team 6's expertise that'll be in the FPS sequel.

There'll be ten parts in all, with this first part in the series focusing on SEAL Snipers, with input from real-life former SEALs who talk about their roles as sharpshooters with scopes, lasers and an innate ability to stalk their targets and then strike with lethal precision.

You'll get to see the surgically precise McMillan TAC-300 sniper rifle in action in the new trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighter below, as well as some deep-voiced testimony from the real deal SEAL. Watch it and that. Medal of Honor: Warfighter is out on October 23rd in North America and October 26th in Europe. Read our Gamescom hands-on preview for more.

  • It def takes skill in real life to make long distance kills, i,m realy excited about Warfighter somehow it looks better and better each time.
  • Didn't know the seals were wearing those uniforms already, we wear them in my Seabee unit now. During land navigation training we tested thm in the woods and the digital pattern actually works well in there to blend in.
  • By the way if your military on here you can pre order a limited edition copy just for us at govx, you have to register and prove your in the military and then you can use the site. A percentage goes to some charity's too.
  • Looks appealing.
  • I like MOH more than BF3 and MW3.
  • Please, SEALs are creampuffs. SPETSNAZ and the SAS eat them like cereal.
  • Can't wait
  • @7...Spoken by someone who's probably never served a day in his life.
  • @9 Yeah I think they are just joking though, so that's ok isn't it? On topic it doesn't matter what they say, sniping in this sort of game will never really come down to how much skill the 'sniper' has.
  • Gotta love these smug fucks that blurt out the "Have you ever served?" bullshit. Shut up. It's a fucking video game. Serving or not, it completely irrelevant. A 12 year old could probably out snipe a "20 year vet" in a video game. Real life combat experience means shit. And I agree on one level, SAS at the top of the crop. No disrespect to the others, but the USA have to quit thinking they're kings of the world... cause they're NOT! Being World Police doesn't mean you're the best, loved, or even that much liked in the world picture.
  • @11 the empire owns them all
  • Cool video does not equal good game. I'd rather see a video that proves to me they figured out how to make a proper spawn system for their multiplayer component. I've already played this campaign, every year in every FPS since 2007.
  • Do they talk about quick-scoping as well?
  • Saying one special forces team is better than the other is a little redundant. They are called special forces for a reason, as in above the training/skill/experience of your average soldier. And your average soldier is more than capable of pulling a trigger and being combat effective. The truth is nobody knows because their missions are top secret. All we know about is SOME of the training they receive and if that's is they case, SPETSNAZ are fucking lunatics lol. People say the Americans got there asses kicked in Vietnam yet almost 60'000 Americans died, and over a million VC NVA dead. Russians supposedly got their asses kicked in Afghanistan yet roughly 15'000 soviet forces killed, and anywhere between 200'00-500'000 Afghans dead. It all depends on what you consider "Victory". MY POINT: Who's to say who's better? It's all opinion and people love to exaggerate their opinions rather there is proof they are wrong or not.
  • No one can say any is better because if any special forces have ever faced each other in REAL combat, not simulated, it has never been revealed. In all honesty, most Special Forces operations are used against lesser trained militia forces. People always discount regular soldiers, but a SF member dies just as easily as a terrorist by a bullet, and I don't think regular soldiers(be they Russian, British, Iranian, etc.) would be as easy to defeat as people say SF could. SF units have a mythos around them(In the US and UK they are practically celebrities as a unit) that they are unbeatable. Well train soldiers who are alert can fight SF units.
  • @16 alert is the key word, any group of SF or regular military can be ambushed with heavy casualties, SF on SF it's going to be whoever has the advantage, the terrain, the element of surprise etc. I'd put money on the SEALs over the other groups mentioned.
  • Sas best in the world without a shadow of doubt
