What a complete fail this game is going to be.
Gears 2 was amazing. Yeah it had problems. But after the excitement of gow3. An the fail it turned out to be.
Cant believe im going to say this. Im not going to even buy this game 2ndhand.

| Im glad to see that the ENTIRE game isn't just based on the Overrun game mode but this game mode still could of been something with a little twist as it looks like they will be putting in TDM back in, anyway I won't buy this day one but I'm mite buy it later on just annoyed that GOW 3 hasn't even been out a year yet and this looks exactly like it but with some altercations |

Epic shouldn't drag out the franchise, they're destroying it like George Lucas is destroying his own creation.
Judgment hardly has any new innovations to make it a game changer like the previous games had. Epic obviously wants money now. |

Mantle-kick is quite a broken mechanic. When they jump, they don't even make contact with you and still kick you somehow.

| Well I was hoping for more than just a plain old Deathmatch but it looks fun no less. I'm okay with this as there are times when I feel like I'm plaiying DM, since a lot of people just steal kills, refuse to pick you up and run away instead of backing you up in a fire fight. |

| These videos were completely generic and had little to no creativity in them whatsoever. WOW, so they put a generic online game mode into Gears without adding that original Gears unique touch to it like they did with every old game mode and then they put the same ribbons as GoW3, the maps don't have a unique feel to them whatsoever, the weapons are just about the same, etc etc. Seems to me that if I were to buy this as an online game that I'd be throwing $60 in the toilet for DLC I can simply get on GoW3. Really disappointing and not enticing to me but that's why theres time from here to March to take these comments were making and turn this game around, HOPEFULLY. |

| IMO all the gears games have been great. Yes they have certain bugs but really it gave the games great memories.. I have owned all three gears games since day one and they all have been unique. The campaigns have been great and all told great stories. The first was epic and scary. The second was informative and gave good background and was just plain fun. Then the third was a great wrap up to the story and was hillarious Baird kept me laughing the whole game. The multiplayer was just a bonus to play with friends. Multiplayer has never been what gears is about. It's more of a story driven game so all the complainers should go back to call of duty if they want to bitch about multiplayer. If this game has quality campaign that's all that really matters because if you think about it multiplayer is just repetitive grinding to level up... |

| I should also point out that you can see that stopping power is clearly not in the game in the Gondola video. That alone will make the Retro Lancer less of a hassle. It also seems like the rifles do more damage to compensate; at the very least, the Lancer downed the charging Carmine in the same video in about 15 shots. That's how strong the Lancer was in the very first game. |

Why is everyone talking crap about this game, It looks great! Yeah It looks very similar to gears 3 but they added minor things here and there and overrun and they have free for all now. I can tell you this now It is damn more of a change from gears 3 to judgement then Call of duty 4 all the way through Modern warfare 3 and thats 5 games in itself.

@68, 71 Chill out. People have a right to say their opinion. If you don't like someones opinion don't make some smart ass comment. Personally, I enjoyed Gears of War 3, but this game looks like a DLC so It will probably just be a rental for me for the campaign.
In other words, anyone else tiring of this trilogy bullshit. I'm glad there's going to be a GoW: Judgement and Halo 4 but, Microsoft really needs to get working on a new idea. |

| Good thing marcus is back as he got killed once during one of the videos but i really hope epic dont force us to play this gametype for stupid medals which take forever to get as this gametype will be filled with campers within a week of the games release. With all the hate I'm seeing in the comments...
This game might be worth picking up! I've been on the fence about it simply because multiplayer gets old after a while. Granted, in Gears 3 it was the best it could've ever been made to be... But it just gets repetative. Especially since all the maps are symmetrical.
But, with the massive amount of people saying, "this isn't Gears of War anymore! This one is going to suck! They've been letting me down since Gears of War 3!"... I'll take that as a good sign that these idiots won't be playing the next game and so I won't have to deal with them when I play it.
Gone is the shotgun spam with the invention of the Retro Lancer. Gone are the idiots who don't stay properly away from cover and get mantle-kicked killed... Gone are the idiots who don't know how to work as a team. Gone are the idiots who don't know what an objective is. Gone are the morons who think the solution to every problem is to charge the enemy with a shotgun.
Where can I sign up to play this new Gears of War? Plenty of space should be open now that the morons aren't getting it. |

| @88, I couldn't have said it better. I've been a Gears fan since day one and have all the novels as well. I'm getting tired of all these ass wipes doing Team Death Match but cannot press the damn X button to revive you. I will be looking forward to this one as well since these cockroaches won't be playing and I can MAYBE have an actual "TEAM". |

i love how now they allow power weapons to pad their rounds, aka the Boomshot has 6 rounds again when they limited it and the other power weapons in G3 to keep people from abusing it...
yet now, along with introducing a mode thats going to promote camping, they bring back the ability to stockpile power weapon rounds, thus meaning the inevitable last 2 ppl in every match, just staying in cover with 4-5 pickups of additional Boomshot ammo....yay |

| @91 A mode that promotes camping? Camping is not really going to help in this mode. You have no one to watch your back unlike the Team based modes. You have constantly stay on the move and watch your back based on the previews I have read and the videos. If a dude is camping in any deathmatch mode, he is just going to get teamed up on, because no one wants to lose to some fool who just hid in a corner all match. Plus only stupid players would allow that. |

Its funny that the only people ragging on this game are the PvP fans. Newsflash, PvP isn't the only component of Gears. There's coop campaign and Horde mode, and now this overrun mode as well. If people would spend more than an hour playing that stuff, they'd get a lot more enjoyment out of the game.
By the way, what game's MP are you playing where there is nothing to complain about? Weapon balance, lag, power weapons...yep, those issues are only in Gears games, lol. |
