The Walking Dead Episode 3 Could Hit as Soon as Next Week

While we still don’t have a concrete release date for the next installment of  The Walking Dead, we do have an indication that it’s coming soon. Really soon.

According to devs Telltale Games, the studio is currently waiting on a release date which could come as early as next week.

"Episode Three: Long Road Ahead is in submission with our first party partners and we are anxiously awaiting a release date to be confirmed," a Telltale representative told IGN. "We anticipate that this could be as soon as next week, and as soon as we have a confirmation on all platforms, we’ll be letting everyone know as soon as it happens."

We’ll bring the proper date as soon as we have it, and if you’ve yet to play The Walking Dead games, you really should. They’re ace.

I heard it was because there was no 18 rating in Aus. Now that there is, anybody know if it's coming to Aus and NZ?

@1 well today it was announced that ACT will be the first State/Territory in Australia to shelve R18+ games. It will start in January, 2013.

Now, physical to digital does obviously differ, but since the rating is legal, all that has to be done is for Telltale Games to submit it to the Australian Classification Board and hope for a pass.

It will be hard to top episode 2 shit got crazy in that one. Still I can not wait for episode 3 I love this game so damn much.

Oh man episode 2 was incredible! Best story telling in any game I've playeed.

Considering Telltale stated it would drop in "the middle of August", it HAS to come out next Tuesday. August is over after next week!

I dont think you can fault TellTale for this one. It seems they finished / submitted it on time but with the time it takes for it to be tested and approved by Sony, MS and such can take some time.

I watched the latest playing dead episode and they said things are going to get even crazier than Episode 2, which had pretty intense stuff to begin with!

Funny, how I remember reading about this releasing in middle of August, do these guys ever make the date they set for themselves? In the meantime both episodes are already for free for PS PLUS subscribers such as myself=)

Create another Xbox account on the UK or US Xbox website then go to a site that sells microsoft points from either of those countries and buy some. Another easy way to give the finger to outdated Aus censorship.

I'm not sure about Paypal, I just use my trusty debit card.

Search offgamers, they sell international points. Each episode costs 400 points so perhaps grab 1200 first time.

Then just import the profile to your Xbox and search the market! Dload it, then sign back into your main gamertag and play!
