Today in FIFA 13 news, EA Sports has announced that a lovely demo of the game will be releasing on September 11th with EA Sports Football Club Match Day mode for you to take for a spin.

In said mode, you'll be able to track the actual progress of Barclays Premiership teams, and follow your favourite team throughout the season with proper commentary that adapts to the game. Presumably this means wheeling out the commentators to record new dialogue each week, or ripping it from off the telly and that.

The demo will also feature 2v2 head to head matches for you to play co-op footie with your mates. A feature that's been in just about every FIFA game ever since the dawn of time.

FIFA 13 is out on September 28th, 2012. Goooal! And stuff. Look! A Gamescom trailer!

  • Cool, every addition to this series sounds like a big step up in comparison to FIFA 12. Hopefully my account doesn't get "hacked" this year.
  • Still satisfied with FIFA 10 on my PS3, don't see why you need a new FIFA game each year, especially when the older iterations in the series are very satisfying
  • OH its that time again..thanks but errm fifa 11 is £1.99.same game different nothing !!!
  • It's soccer...
  • Day one
  • @4 Oh no you didn't...
  • i wish they would add a option for veteran players who play the EA Sports titles each year if they want to transfer the previous years legend status so you dont gotta re-earn it EVERY SINGLE YEAR and lose all your stats from the previous year as well. if EA for Mass Effect can do it with Save files from previous mass effects, why cant EA do something simliar with the sports games. i mean its just a option that would be available.. you DONT gotta do it if you dont want to. kinda like CoD with prestiging.. its there if you wanna do it, but dont have to. idk i think it's a good idea.
  • @3 Go buy it then. I can guarantee it's won't be as good as this. Not that I don't love holding down B to tackle and what not.
  • @6 oh yes she did
  • Errrm this is the EXACT same video as the last FIFA post. No gameplay footage whatsoever!
  • Ugh...when will they realise that not everyone supports top league teams, would love the matchday feature for the smaller divisions too but maybe in the future.
  • @4 where is the word 'soccer' in FIFA ?
  • awesum looking forward to this prob the best game for me to play team wise in a xboxlive party and work asa team roll on sept 28
  • I love these games but I'm starting to not understand why they make a new one every year. Yeah it's updated and has new features, but all of these features would have been made years and years ago, they just keep them so new ones seem "fresh". Why can't they just make a game called FIFA that includes all features and every year give you an update for a few microsoft points that updates the kits/transfers etc. That way you don't have to lose your current career progress but if you start again you'll have fresh new teams to play around with.
  • The real question is, Is this online co op or co op in house for head to head? It better be online or I will go cry in a corner.
  • GOTY. Halo and CoD can bore off...
  • @4 go play eggball!
