Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012)

Need for Speed: Most Wanted will allow you to access every car in the game from the outset, EA has announced.

On stage at EA’s pre-Gamescom presser, Most Wanted’s executive producer Matt Webster said that, “an open world game deserves an open game structure," before adding, "if you can find it, you can drive it." Webster said that vehicle unlcoks continue to exist only because of tradition.

Another novel feature in Most Wanted is how the game approaches competition between friends. In the game, if a friend has recorded the best jump in a certain area, then their face will be displayed on a billboard. Smash through their smug face, record a bigger jump, and it’ll be your ugly mug on the billboard instead.

In addition to this, EA also unveiled a feature called CloudCompete. It will allow players to track friends activity and earn XP across multiple devices, including home consoles, mobiles, PC, Mac and Vita.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is out on October 30 in North America and on November 1 in Europe. There’s a brand new trailer below.

	Gamespot UK posted the news about the unlocks on August 2nd 2012. The billboard thing is new though. :p

	@2 As much as a lot of NFS fans want it, it's time to get over it. Think about it, we always want what has already been done. Isn't this just rehashing? Think about this, we always complain about what we already had. Isn't this just stupid? If you don't want it or like it, I'm sure you can pick up Most Wanted for less than $15 and play it the way you want it to be.

	Criterion are the kings of this genre.... We don't need any customisation thanks; that was/is the brainchild of less talented developers. EXCITED!

	@5 Yeah, I could buy it, but I want something new. Besides, isn't what they're doing NOW also just rehashing(burnout paradise with real cars)? They could add customization and still drastically change the game. Just my opinion, but I think it's damn lazy and they're just taking the easy way of developing their game.

	Looks good, although i still think NFS: Most Wanted 2005 will remain the better and funner game.

	Exactly what I was hoping for with the co-op challenges, really enjoyed those from Paradise. Day 1 buy for me.

	Can some one tell me if this is true - there is no single player career? only multiplayer and single player races like in hot pursuit? and the thing about ''its all about beating your friends'' or something like that - wtf i dont have any IRL friends on xbl ;/ only randoms! so this is hot pursuit in city... i'd rather just buy original nfs mw for x360 then... :\|

	Absolutely cannot wait for this game. Criterion knows how to make a good racer. Forza and Dirt are nothing compared to Criterion-made NFS games.

	"Takedown Challenge"? Why don't they just make a Burnout game and put the 'Need for Speed' name on it ffs? Would rather they just make Burnout 6 tbh..
